So I've been mixing for about 3 years but I've never really delved into custards. What is the best custard to use if I'm looking to make a blackberry custard type of juice. I've used Custard Monsters blackberry custard and I dont not taste vanilla in it and that's what I'm looking for?
INW like everyone stated maybe backed up with FA Custard Premium (I can't taste the vanilla over all of the butter) a touch of WF Egg Yolk SC and ya in there like swimwear 🏊♂️
I had FA Custard Premium in my cart and I took it off after I had read that it had strong vanilla notes in it. But if it has strong butter notes I will add it back. I love butter notes but I've never found one that suits what I want.
There was a cinnamon buttered toast juice that had a strong butter flavor that I LOVED but I never could find a butter that I could use to get there. Tried so many times haha.
Ayeee this is meant to be man trust me you are going to love it.. chefs had it rebranded for cheaper RIP TO ONE OF THE GOATS lol gone but not forgotten.. like Dave says on noted (look up diyordie custard noted on YouTube) at higher percentages I taste almost butter alone with custard premium. It's what I use to add butter to a lot of things. It's top tier as an additive for that and for adding a smooth richness. You can use it for so much and it can also damn near be single flavor vaped.. yeah it's INW custard and FA Custard Premium for must haves around here. You won't be mad. Scoop it up. Watch that noted video they're helpful folks that put in a mad work
With FLV Blackberry and WF Mora Blackberry .. at least the Mora.. maybe even VSO or SC Blackberry! God bless
I get soap from everything except FW Blackberry, but I have not tried these two. Which one would you say is the least soapy / floral?
SC could lean floral or soapy to me for sure. Mora is a dream of a candy blackberry to me while FLV leans the most natural out of all I've tried. I've heard positive reviews about VSO but I'm waiting on a shipment from them now and haven't tried it yet. I'd say neither are floral or soapy imo out of FLV and Mora!
Capella's Vanilla Custard (v.1 or v.2) are popular. People like to use them at about 4%.
Did you even read the post?
I'm looking for a custard that doesn't taste vanilla. I have Cap vanilla custard v2 but the vanilla is too overwhelming for me.
