Hello!
I just ordered 50/50 and 70/30 "nicotine salt booster 20mg" which should come in tomorrow.
In the meantime i had some 70/30 "totally nic 18mg" (used in shortfill, not salt?).
Mixing some 20% dr frost mango with 80% totally nic (10ml bottle to test 8ml nic 2ml mango). Taste is ok, needing some more steeping i guess.
For some reason, after 5-7 puffs (mtl) my throat feels very dry. Basicly unable to continue smoking, needing s bottle of water next to me lol. To the point of irritation.
Normally i buy 10ml nic salts by default, never had this issue.
Could this be due regular nic instead of salt? Will the salt that arrives tomorrow be better?
I just learned this week there are also unflavoured salts😆
Thanks!
Pretty sure regular nic has much more hit but is absorbed more slowly so yeah that would be likely why you can't vape too much if you're not used to it
Hello! Ive been a 15+ year smoker and since a half year i smoke 20mg nic salts (pre flavored ones).
It never felt like this.
The flavorless salts should come in today, lets hope for the best!
Freebase nicotine has a lot of throat hit and is much harsher than nic salts. If you mixed 80ml of 18mg/ml freebase with 20mg of flavor, that‘s a 14.4mg/ml freebase eliquid. That’s going to be harsh. Most vapers don’t go over 6mg freebase (there are exceptions). Nic salts are much smoother, which is why they can be used much higher at low power. Not everyone likes nic salts though, some get a tight feeling in the chest from nic salts. Vaping, in general, will cause dry mouth because both VG and PG are hygroscopic. Make sure to drink a lot of water and practice proper oral hygiene.
