Has anyone tried making actual candy with ejuice recipes?
submitted almost 3 years ago by scottysmeth

Years agoI liked the Fizzmustard nana cream clone so much, I did some research and used the recipe as flavouring for some taffy. It was a lot of fun and tasted just like the juice. Surprisingly, after such a good success first try (that NEVER happens when I try something) I never made anything again, got out of vaping when my kid was born but recently started dabbling again. So basically I'm asking;

A- If anyone else has done this, just want to hear your experiences.

B- What simple recipes do you suggest I try? (Only interested in fruity/candy flavours, for obvious reasons)

C- If I were to order some flavours just to make alone, what company makes the best individual flavours? (For example the best tasting strawberry, not necessarily the best to match a specific recipe.) I used to know a ton but that was about 6 years ago, almost starting over here.

Thanks for your help!

Yeah, all the time. I discovered this community for the purpose of which you discussed, and it's great.

There's way too much to discuss, and, just like candy makers, most people don't want to give away their best secrets. The best place to start is to decide what flavors you want and go from there, it is a gigantic rabbit hole. If you want a single flavor recommendation to start with, Flavour art forest fruits. Bull city carries it, i'd order from there if I was you. www.alltheflavors.com and https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vK6DAdGSZK9V1Wi85C8HWf3wTN75l0Qe8GDCibhVH8w/edit#gid=808823194 are great tools as well.

It's also worth noting that as a candy maker, you have a lot of other tools to play with that aren't in the ejuice recipe world. Things like citric acid greatly enhance artificial flavorings.

I put my flavoring in everything but never tried actually cooking with them. Throwing a nice chocolate strawberry recipe in a glass of coke zero is amazing.

I make cola gummies with FA Cola, works great! Haven't really experimented with much else.

Have you got a recipe you can share? Would like to try making some gummies as have loads of concentrates and don't really vape anymore

Here you go: https://www.reddit.com/r/ketotrees/comments/sc0gbe/i_made_keto_cola_gummies/hubezxj

It's sugar free bc I'm keto, if you wanted to make "regular" ones I'd try whatever recipe pops up first online, start at a half teaspoon of FA Cola and work up from there to taste, about a teaspoon is what I use for a small batch. To make cola bottles that look like Happy Colas you need bottle molds (obviously) and I use condiment bottles to fill, split your gummy mixture equally between 2 of them and for one bottle mix red and blue food coloring until you get brown-ish, then fill the molds squeezing both bottles from opposite ends of the mold at the same time.

If you experiment and discover any flavors that work good for gummies please share! I tried Root Beer Float once and it was a disaster.

I put some some INW Shisha Strawberry and WF Banana Puree in a chocolate protein shake today. It was incredible!

Sounds good! Just curious how much you put in, just a few drops of each?

A candy raspberry flavour and vanilla shisha make a great creaming soda.

There's a concentrate manufacturer that's not very well known called The Flavour Smiths, run by the UK based One Shot company called Drip Hacks. On their Facebook page they post recipes for cookies and the like flavored with their ejuice concentrates. I saw one for butterscotch cookies the other day. I never tried their stuff so I can't comment on how good it is, but if you find that group on Facebook it will at least give you some ideas.

Edit: Ok I just realized you said candy, not food in general, but yeah it might be worth checking out anyway

Yes I am extremely interested in this and hoping to create a post on here with my findings when I finally get a chance to try it out. I have looked around for info about it but I haven't found much of anything. Some people say the same percentages as recipes but a) that's expensive and b)I think it would be too strong so I'm going to go for 1/4 of the percentages we use in vapes starting with single flavours and work up from there.

I'm planning on some hard candies like Jolly ranchers as well as gummy candies .

Recently I was in Romania where I visited a big candy shop selling gummies and stuff like that, I tried a ton of different candies there but a few flavours were very reminiscent of the vape flavours we use, it was very inspiring

I remember stressing about how much flavor to use too, I can't recall how much I used but it turned out great.

Yep! I make sugar glass for my niece and nephew every Halloween. Last year I made a batch with my fall mix.

Sounds fun, I will probably start with some simple Lorann flavours, they are fairly easy to find locally. The glass you are talking about is just the hard candy set in a baking sheet and broken up?

Recipes, none just experimenting

Idk about candies, because I have never tried it, but I have been adding vso blueberry & vso huckleberry to my pancakes, & it just makes the flavor pop!
