lack of blueberry...
submitted almost 3 years ago by Skydemon92

I'm trying to find a good blueberry concentrate, mainly for mixtures, no solo. I'm new to diy juice making, so I figured I'd go someplace I'm comfortable with to find some opinions. What do you all like and any recommendations for mixing ideas?

My favorite blueberries are medicine flower blueberry, and FLV blueberry muffin. VSO huckleberry is quite good too. While it's not straight blueberry, FA forest fruits is also very good.

+1 on the Blueberry Muffin- FLV and the Blueberry-MB (Molinberry) is legit too. I use Bull City. I did Blueberry-MB and Crunchy Cereal-TFA recently.

The Blueberry Trinity is a great place to start if you like blueberries.

I've been vaping the crap out of this Blueberry Lemonade which calls for FW Blueberry and TPA Blueberry (Extra).

When I first started I tried so hard for a good blueberry and failed. It's time to try again.

I have a lot of blueberries, probably 15+. The one I keep finding myself going back to is JF blueberry. There's some decent blueberry jams too. I mainly mix desserts so bear that in mind.

I'll second the JF. It's reminiscent of TFA's Wild Blueberry having some very realistic pith & seed notes to it, but is a little more top heavy, more potent and fades less over time. No matter what BB I use though, I always pair it with FW's. Their Blueberry, while pretty one dimensional, brings all of the Top Notes that help seperate the fruit from the creams. So a typical ratio of JF:FW would be 1:2. For a little adventure try either FA's Blueberry Juicy Ripe or RFSC Blueberry. FA's is syrupy and juicy, boarderline fantasy BB, but works great in Bakery profiles. RFSC's is super bright and is the only BB that I've ever been able to get to work with Lemonades or other candy type profiles. Hope that helps.

Yah, and what happened to RFSC Strawberry. My absolute favorite and I can't find it anymore.

I really like FLV Blueberry. It's a staple in my go-to mixture.

To all of you that responded, thank you so much for your ideas. Gonna be busy for a couple days, but I'll upload my recipe once I get it fine tuned and see what everybody thinks 😁

I tried a load of blueberries and gave up on it, never quite finding what I was looking for, until someone introduced me to FA Blueberry Juicy Ripe. I have no idea if it tastes anything like real blueberries but it was the flavour I was looking for all along 😋
