Anyone know of a strawberry that "yellows" as it steeps?
One of my long term ADV's was Oakwood Festival. They closed shop shortly after COVID started, and my repeated efforts to buy the recipe (even sealed under NDA) lost steam with one of the owners.
I recently found The Hype - Pink & Blue and the strawberry they are using tickles the braincells as to being the right flavor to try to recreate Festival.
Both Festival and Pink & Blue yellow as they steep, so I'm thinking it might be the strawberry that does it.
Nicotine will also turn yellow with oxidization. Are there other flavors in these juices? Or is it just strawberry?
Well.. it's not the pale yellow of nicotine oxidation, but more of a "bright, almost neon yellow"

Festival was a strawberry forward, light vanilla sugar milk/shake flavor.
The Pink & blue is described as a cotton candy... hence thinking the fruit flavors are what triggers the coloration change.
Hi, im from DR and the suppliers available are selling me flavors in strength like 300x liquids meaning 0.3%, what would be the strength of ejuices? how much do i need in the ejuice?
I have no idea what you are asking. What flavor brand/name, give me an example please. And why can’t you just ask your „supplier“ at which % they should be used in mixes? Surely they must know that.
flavors are compounds present in really small quantities, when you buy from flavor west it has a strenght, but in Dominican Republic buying from FW means waiting for shipping and other cost, local flavors are for beverages and are stronger while FW flavors are diluted, i wanted to know if somebody is using clones and what is the strenght used in final ejuice...
for example orange flavor is 10000x strong meaning 0.01% or 0.0001 ml are used in 100 ml of ejuice... so using 3% like normal recepies in the forum is not posible
Using different flavor brands for recipes doesn't work. They need to be the same brand. Subbing rarely works at all. If you do sub, just be aware the juice will not turn out as intended.
There is no "strength" involved in picking flavors. We don't have that kind of data when we purchase flavors.
Still not totally sure what exactly it is you are asking.
