Testing bottles
submitted about 3 years ago by OneEyeRabbit

Please tell me I’m not the only one that has about 20 unlabeled diy bottles with e juice in them laying around. I make a small sample from an online recipe and then steep it and forget what it was.

Now it seems I’m playing the game of name that flavor.

a roll of masking tape and a sharpie prevents this. revolutionary, I know.

That’s a lot of work your talking about. 😅

You do it when you mix the sample... and it's less effort than mixing. Just write the name of the recipe and the date.

The tape I have only works with certain inks otherwise it smears. Gonna get some fine tip permanent markers tomorrow

I just have some old blank labels from an address printing thing and throw a torn one on a test bottle. I don't like to play the guessing game.

I have labels and I'm still like "nah fuck it, I'll what it is by the smell or taste" I found a random bottle in the car and had literally no idea what it tasted like or how old it was. I think it was supposed to be some kind of grape? Still a mystery to this very day

I have three mystery flavors I’m still trying to figure out.. one almost tastes like a Vanilla bourbon and orange.. I don’t know, but it’s good

"I'll definitely remember which flavors these are because the caps are different colors" -- me 20 seconds before forgetting what they are

sharpie , then it wears off in 5 mins, tape does amazing things though .. most I just vape them as they are, and use batch notes in alltheflavors

If they are really bad and no label, just wash it down the drain

painters tape and a gel pen is all I use because it’s what I had here when I needed to label something.

hate the “no idea what this is but I love it” game.

Having no labels was keeping my senses sharp. Just started DIY again after a long hiatus... Thank you for the blue painters tape tip, my 10 year old shipping labels wouldn't stick. Especially if there is a trace of eliquid.
