Are there any Mac compatible juice mixing calculators? I use liquid nicotine wholesalers calculator on line but who knows how long that will last. I'd feel better with a calculator I can use on my machine except it seems the only 2 I've seen are for widows. Any mac users here have a recommendation?
Thanks
Why not use alltheflavors or e-liquid-recipes?
I'm just afraid that these sites will start to disappear. I see things getting grim and I would like something I can control for the time being.
Both of the sites I mentioned let you export data to CSV format as often as you like, so that's one safeguard. Another is my promise that if ATF is ever forced offline, I will provide the last database dump of all public recipes in a static format so that everything can be preserved using a tool like the Internet Archive.
But I totally understand your desire to retain control, unfortunately I'm unaware of any Mac native software for mixing e-liquid. It wouldn't be on the App Store because of Apple's policies. Your best bet may be to try and get one of the .NET calculators (I think eJuiceMeUp is one) running using mono
or getting one of the Win32 calculators running with wine
.
Also, quick note to everyone who chooses to store their entire recipe list locally. You should have at least two backups, preferably on different cloud providers or physical media that is fault-tolerant and securely stored. This can be as simple as using Google Drive/Dropbox/OneDrive to sync your recipes to "the cloud" and then manually back that up once a week to an external HDD.
They’re not going anywhere. Plus you can save your recipes
I just got done using "vape tool" on my android for a mixing session. It's got a handy coil calculator as well.
In my opinion information like this can't be legislated away, it's common knowledge at this point.
I created a Numbers spreadsheet with lookup tables for the specific gravity of all the bits and bobs I have. To add a recipe, I’ll add a table to the sheet, set the nic, pg/vg ratio and batch size then toss in the flavors. It’s not perfect, but does a lot of the work for you.
