Excluding one shots what flavor would you choose?
Is menthol considered a flavoring? Because if so menthol all the way
I'm with you on this. Been vaping menthol tobacco NIC salt in a pod for about 3 years now
I need to try that. Does it have throat hit?
Id say grab some axiom icicles at 18 or 24mg...
But then realized in diy sub.
I've tried to recreate the intense throat hit, but didn't quite make it there yet. I just ran out the other bottle. I think the last one i also added some horehound. Didn't like it at first, or tasted lil funky, but it smoothed out after a few days.
Some say axiom uses 5% crystals by weight...and I've also heard up to 9 or 10% crystals by weight.
Ive done 6 and 7% in crystals and still not quite there. But close. So it's def not 5%
Axiom throat hit is quite prominent and I look for strong throat hit. Even at 12mg it thumps and I usually use 20-24mg mixes and they dont hit as hard as 12mg icicles.

Pretty sure I was clear, but I'm not talkin using a diluted 10% menthol solution. I mean actual weight of crystals.
I'd say it counts. I used to smoke only menthol whenever I first started vapeing. Although It's considered more of a "flavor enhancer"; all menthol has a slight unsweet pepperminty flavor.
Menthol is a flavor.
Ws23 and koolada are coolants.
Menthol also comes from menthe piperita....aka peppermint.
Capella Vanilla Custard V1
What percentage are we talking?
I've never used it on it's own but I guess about 16%.
The average used as a single flavor by people on ELR is 8.4% - though someone there used 30%!?!?
Well my lazy DiY has shown that I am able to vape green apple for an entire year lol
Same but pink lemonade lol. I bought like 100+ flavors when I started my DIY journey but I've come to the realization that I'm perfectly happy vaping the same blend for years lol. I thought I would love making new juices all the time but about 2 weeks into starting DIY I had made 3 original blends that were better than 95% of the commercial juice I've bought so I just stuck with those and have like 90 flavors just sitting there now lol. This post has given me some inspiration to try making something new though, so that's good.
I could get by quite rightly on FA fuji apple.
I vaped 5% fuji and 5% pear mix for like the last 5 months. I ran out and now I just throw random peach flavors and blue berry into a bottle. I need to order my mainstays again. When I first started I bought a lot of creams, vanilla, cheesecake, cookies...and I don't like any of them. I'm basically only a fruit vaper. I gave them all to the guy who introduced me to DIY. He likes em.
Cactus. I pretty much just put together Cactus and sweetener and it's perfect.
Got my roommate hooked on it too.
Can you give us a flavor description of cactus?
Uhh cactus. Find a cactus, skin it, bite it.
Or try and find some cactus juice, those are pretty close.
Back when I first started making my own juice I was reading a lot of flavor threads and saw a decent amount of praise for it. Sounded weird to me, well still does, but I need to order from BCF soon and I want to try it now. Best recipe? Or % cactus and super sweet? And which company makes it, thanks( not sure if there is multiple cactus). Best wishes
Capella lemon meringue pie, or TFA banana nut bread. Can't really choose between them. Not the best flavors I have by any means, but the two that I would get bored of the least quickest if I was vaping them as single flavors.
I've heard alot of people say really good things about TFA banana nut bread I need to try it. I'm ashamed to admit that I've never tried a "bakery" type of juice. The closest thing I've had to bakery flavor is Jam Monster PB&Jam. I really only vaped Fruit + menthol/Koolada combos. I recently got some creams so I'm about to start experimenting with those.
SOHO
Me too
Cake.
An awful lot of you are posting multiple flavors=juice.
EDIT: added = juice.
Cnv lemon cream wafer
I got a 30 of that because I saw so many people here talk about it and while the first 60mL I made was amazing by the 3rd or 4th batch of it I was completely sick of it. What % are you doing and any other additions? Mine was some guy's simple Dinner Lady clone on ATF.
I do ~~don't~~ vape a single flavor. Earl Grey Tea. It's fantastic.
Edit "Do", not "do don't"
Almost any FA fruit or FA Spearmint FLV Mango or FLV Vanilla Tobacco
It's criminal we find ourselves in this situation. I've been DIYing since ~2015 and I miss the inspiration of trying out an occasional commercial liquid; trying to pick it apart and clone it.
NJ has lost it's mind, along with many other corrupted and uneducated states.
I can still go buy a carton of American Spirit or Marlboros, but I can't vape cherry vanilla or pineapple mango?
Makes no sense.... follow the money, as usual. (Preaching to the choir)
Lemon Meringue Tart - Vape Train Australia. it is technically a one shot, but, its not the classic mix at 14-20% and more like a flavouring at 5-6%
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream or Custard V1 both by Cappella as runner ups.
to be honest i'd be happy enough with most of my collection solo as i tend to get flavours i like and mix and match them to suit my mood. i only have a few flavours that are purely accents.
Vanilla is always good as a single flavor. I like Vanilla Cream Extra or Vanilla Shisha.
Cap Sugar Cookie is also good at 6 or 8% - though it is better with 2% Cap Vanilla Custard.
TFA Banana Nutbread is good at 8 or 10% - though I like it better with some extra Banana added.
Ambrosia (Purilum) if I could find it again. Had some years ago but apparently it wasn't very popular and no local stores stock it now.
It did get harsh over time so after a while it needed a dash of FA AAA magic mask to tone it down a bit. Or maybe I was just using too much ambrosia.
TFA Honeydew.
My very first pull of a vape was in a Vapor-Fi in Alexandria, VA. It was the, "omfg, fuck this shit" day; aka, the day I knew I needed to quit smoking.
I get to the shop, and I already know which device I want to overpay for. However, I'd given very little consideration to flavor.
The guy, Chris iirc, asks, do you like guava?
I reply with something like, "Yeah. I like most kinds of guava, green or red".
He gives me a taste of Grand R.S.R.V. Maui Menthol.
I instantly never wanted a cigarette ever again.
Fast-forward a few months, I'm already into D.I.Y. because e-liquid was already murdering my wallet.
Fast-forward a couple of years, and I order a new batch of flavors I've yet to try.
I make a batch SFT's, and I taste what I believe to be the primary ingredient in Maui Menthol:
TFA Honeydew.
Wintergreen, Been vaping it for 2 years or more so far
Either a Bavarian Cream or Ripe Strawberry. When I started, I thought I'd make all these new and fun flavors, but I just ended up with a strawberries and cream blend I've been using daily for almost 3 years now and those are the two flavors that I think pull through the most.
What's your favorite Bavarian cream?
Honestly, I started making my recipe with TFA DX Bavarian Cream and haven’t tried others. It’s got a nice scent and adds a nice “fullness” to fruit & cream recipes. Hope this helps!
Capella energy drink at 10%
I haven't tried this flavor yet does it copy a brand name drink like monster or red bull or does it have a different type of flavor?
Sadboy Shamrock Cookie
Think the idea was a single diy flavour not premade juice lol flv creme de menthe is fantastic to make shamrock shake tho
