Hello,
I decided to do some DIY e-liquid and I did some research and found some recipes that I might enjoy. I tried to find recipes with overlapping ingredients so I don't have to get a huge amount of different flavors. Would you guys take a look at the recipes and give me some feedback?

IMO you can drop the TFA Dragonfruit. It’s only used for the Triethyl Citrate as an emulsifier. Replace all your strawberry with JF Strawberry Sweet, INW Shisha Strawberry, and FA Strawberry, Red Touch. OOO Marshmallow Vanilla, FA Marshmallow, WF Marshmallow (Gooey) > TFA Marshmallow. INW Raspberry, Malina > TFA Raspberry Sweet. LB Vanilla Ice Cream > TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. WF Caramel Salted, FW Caramel Salted > FA Caramel. VT Banana Custard > TFA Banana Cream. FW Blueberry > CAP Blueberry. FE Lemon > CAP Lemon.
After you throw out the Dragonfruit you can mix up this 2-2-2 recipe and let me know how that goes :P
You should know know that in those recipes up there 3/5/7% are not utilizing it for its emulsifying properties, it's for the flavor at those levels. :)
Yeah, I know. I also have 40ml of TFA Dragonfruit just sitting on my shelf. It’s a lost flavor nobody uses anymore. I should just pour my Dragonfruit into my pancake batter next time I make pancakes. Along with this SSA Tiramisu I don’t know what to do with
This information about dragonfruit and the emulsifying effect is cool, I didn't know (I'm new to DIY mixing, and even more so in South America where everything is scarce, information and products...) could indicate me the current alternative for emulsifiers used in juice recipes? do you have a place to indicate with information about the molecules, interactions and uses? Sorry for the clutter, I hope your weekend is amazing, hugs!
They look pretty tasty… if you get in eliquidrecipes.com, load in all your flavors when you get them, there is a what can I make button in the my flavors section that will generate recipes based on what you have. I think all the flavors.com may have similar capabilities.
I will give it a shot thank you!
Once you have those flavors loaded into the site(s) and see what you can make, you can also filter +1 or 2 (flavor(s) you don’t have). You may find a more recipes you’d like with just a flavor addition or two. That’s how I shop for next order.
Some solid recipes, however some of the percentages may be a tad high for modern gear today. I highly recommend buying smaller bottles of flavors on your first order in case you don't like them. There are better choices for some of these selections now. As always taste is subjective.
The only problem I see is, if you don't like TFA Strawberry Ripe, there are too many recipes based on it. So, I'd first try only 1 or 2 with strawberry ripe. At the same time, try CAP Ripe Strawberries, or WF juicy strawberry and INW strawberry, so you get an idea of what strawberries taste like.
The online DBs have flaws. Very old recipes got the most attention and, therefore, many of the votes just happen because of scale-effects, while new recipes have a hard time to make it to our attention (see Unicorn Milk recipes). Sites with "secret recipes" also won't help the DIY'ers cause, imho.
TPA Dragonfruit is overrated, imho
Lemon Curd Cheesecake is the best one in your list.
I have to try strawberry cream, but that flavors are some of the most used, so it will taste very similar to other recipes, I know.
Thank you for your feedback, the problem is I cannot try flavors before because they are hard to get locally so I have to order online, and because of the high shipping cost, I need to buy in bulk which is a problem, so I don't have the leisure of trying different flavors sadly.
Then try this recipe to get a different strawberry taste in your samples. And if you do some research: Yes, there aren't so many recipes with CAP ripe strawberries because of the point I made before, that so many "highly rated" recipes are all with TFA strawberry ripe (older flavor).
