Thanks to u/wllmc at Bull City Flavors for sending these out for review.

Tested on my SteamCrave RDTA v.1 with dual vertical 7 wrap, 24ga Kanthal coils @ 65w.

After it appeared as if I was flooding the sub, I had considered bulking all of these new WF reviews into one post, as opposed to posting each one individually, but after a few requests, and the fact that this flavor was too good to sit on any longer, the temp flooding will continue.

Blackcurrant (WF) 3.5% 4-6-22 -- I was curious to get into this one early, as I'd recently tested another great one, and I wanted to see how Wonder Flavors pulled this one off. In a word, they did it EXCELLENTLY !! Some of you may have never eaten or tried a Blackcurrant, and I have a few times, BUT, soo long ago, I couldn't hope to do a true, direct comparison, BUT, this one really did a good job, with the expect almost grape-like, dark berry-ish, main notes, with an almost hint of cherry, with a somewhat tart finish. Yeah, try saying THAT 4 times fast. What I found most interesting was the almost musky, earth undertones, that (like ONE other I've tried) really improved it's accuracy, and authenticity. It was very nicely full at this weight, and really rumbled in the lower, darker regions, and again, finished with just enough tartness. Very natural tasting, with nothing out of place, and, nothing missing. A very well rounded flavor from WF, and after finishing off the SECOND tester, I did start to perceive just a little acidity, which just drove home, that this one was one of the great ones. Countless uses, countless pairings, and even though I'm not really a yogurt-er, I had the urge to try and toss together a blackcurrant yogurt. Put it in your cart, and thank me later. 9.9/10.

I just tried this myself earlier today and was pleasantly surprised. It's more complex than any of the grape flavors that I own, and has a satisfying muskiness. Thanks as always for the awesome reviews, you've inspired 50+ purchases for me personally.

Very agreed, and thank you u/Ebonyks. Typically I never liked muskiness, but after I started to embrace Medicine Flower Blueberry, I started to have a new appreciation for it.

I don’t think you’re flooding the sub. All your reviews and anyone else’s reviews are always valuable to me. For instance FA Lulo, I searched everywhere I knew to, I found a few, and yep, there you are on ELR. A consolidated review compacts all your notes like Sobucky (SSA) flavors reviewed by SessionDrummer Part 1 and doesn’t push other related posts to the bottom but I have to admit this makes it difficult to find a particular one. For example, a review on SSA Tiramisu. At least your individual reviews will be added to the Flavor Reviews or Flavor Facts archive if they haven’t already.

A lot of work goes into keeping the sub tidy I’m positive on that. You’re fortunate enough to even get all the flavors you review. If you take the time to pump out a full review it’s worthy of me “skimming over it” hahaa because obviously I won’t have that flavor. But if I’m in the market for a new Blackcurrant it’s much easier to find if the review is posted individually. Just my two ¥en

For me personally, I read every one of SD's reviews I can get my little grubby paws on. Then if I'm looking for a flavor I'll (hopefully) remember to go back to his reviews and read it again. Many times I just read them for the knowledge gained, and from them I find many flavors I need and didn't know it!! I don't know how to link posts into a comment, but this is where I found a handy-dandy lists of all SD's reviews...forum.e-liquid-recipes.com/t/sessiondrummers-sf-testing-notes-all-in-one-base-camp/227738

THATTHATTHATTHAT...wasthprblm?

Personally I've found WF, more often than not, irritates my throat when it's a flavor I like. Frog gummy (love it) and purple drink (tastes like purple soap to me) being my only memorable exceptions so far that don't makes it tough to choose first even when the reviews are "on point". Which makes me kinda sad, as WF tends to be one of the cheaper brands with a wide variety at various resellers here in Canada.

Anyone else wind up with a scratchy "feels like I'm getting a cold" throat from WF? I know I've run into a couple of others who avoid WF because of this.

Thanks SD!

Hehe, touche. Sounds like me and Nic Salts u/joeblowma. I can't say that I've had that with any of the WF I've tested or used.

Thank you.
