Just got an email from Inawera:
"It's new and sweet. Time to meet the Candylicios. :)
It is as a substance is 667 sweeter than 10% sucrose solution. It has been approved by the European Union for use in food as a sweetener (E 959). Please welcom NHDC."
Wiki shows [this](https://en. wikipedia.org/wiki/Neohesperidin_dihydrochalcone)
Anyone have any experience of this? Sounds terrifying for me, being averse to sucralose
Im no chemist but just from reading about it Im a little scared to vape it. Lot of stuff you can ingest you cant vape.
You can vape it safely it appears judging by some research papers
P.S: The aforementioned
That's a patent, not any form of food/vape safety research. Still, kudos for actually useful information. Appears to be a modified form of sucralose, it may or may not actually be a safe alteration.
Goes to show there's bugger all regulation/safety data for juice additives, it's a problem, and unfortunately one we can't make too much noise about without adding fuel to the anti-vape fire. In a better world...
"It should be noted that, among the molecules tested, Neohesperidin dihydrochalcone exhibited a strong licorice-type aftertaste, which constitutes a brake during formulation in the presence of aroma."
Hi. I‘d use as little artificial sweeteners in vape liquid as possible. In most of mine, I don’t need any at all or 0.2-0.3% at most. But that’s just me. Everyone needs to find their own sweet spot when it comes to harm reduction. Like I vape some flavors that shouldn’t be vaped once in a while, but I also only vape 5-10ml a day. There’s a saying, „the dose makes the poison“.
