Abstract. Single flavor testing of "Flavor express" golden mango. Testing took place over the course of one week. Flavor was sampled daily, with the exception of one day it was too cloudy for the solar to charge equipment. as where four experimental, mango centric recipes of varying levels of detail and overall profile. Results are a realistic mango with a mild pine inhale and fresh fruit exhale with no off putting notes. In the authors words "mango is known as the 'king of fruit' and FE golden pineapple take that throne in my opinion"
FE golden mango. Single flavor tested at 3% Max VG. Purchased at https://flavorjungle.com/
Cured 1 week. Tested on the Hellvape Aequitas RDA. 3x28+36 AWG NI 80 fused Clapton at 65 watts.
No major noticeable difference from day 1 besides a negligible reduction in the overall "pine'eness" No loss in Potancy.
Top notes. Fresh mostly ripened mango. Mostly ripe is in reference to overall sweetness with a underlying pine flavor distinctive of unripe mango. This is due to the esters α-pinene, β-pinene, limonene, myrcene and camphene which are found in all species of Pinus. During ripening, the Esters are reduced due to gasification though their presence is never completely eliminated in the fruit. This mango is akin to the "Ataulfo" cultivar grown in Sinaloa, Veracruz and Jalisco in the United Mexican States.
Off notes. Mild pine, which can be assumed to have an off-putting effect on some. The flavor was enjoyed during testing.
Finish. Sweet juicy mango flesh, very mild pine and pleasant mango "musk" for lack of proper Terminology.
Potency and ranges. (Note) Averages calculated are a pooled combination of averages for all FE flavors through atf and elr.
Overall potency is on the higher side of average for flavor express. Average ranges for this company are from 1% to 3%
Suggested range 2% to 5%
Position in a recipe. This mango is sweet and balenced. It does not need help shining though as our "star" fruit, nor does it need layoring. As it stands, FE Golden mango should be a staple and out of the 2 dozen mangos that have been tested it is the best example of a fresh, mostly ripe and accurate mango on the market.
Sample recipes (Note) These are samples used during viablity testing. There will not be "development notes due to all recipes posted being examples used during testing. Though they may be published with notes after adjustment and further refinements. They are subjectively "good" to the tester during trials.

Really good review. Thank you! Hey, have you tried WF Island Mango?
I have. It’s a pretty good addition to a mango layer it has body but no real mango quality. Meaning it’s very smooth and doesn’t have the distinct mango pine not, like at all. It’s a good blend for peach/mango but stand-alone isn’t the play. Not mad I bought it nonetheless.
