As always, the purpose of this thread is to gather the community to explore a category of flavor and its many uses.

####Q: How do flavors get put on the schedule?
####A: Requests and suggestions from people like YOU!
If there's something you'd like to see, just post a request in this thread. You can request both a specific flavor profile and where it lands on the calendar.
‘Bout fricken time y’all had a decent flavor on. I’ll add some notes/recipes/fun later. Not an entry.
I'll put this here since this isn't an entry. Why vape tobacco when you quite smoking to vape? I guess I missed the boat like say coffee. I never liked coffee, I can't put enough cream or sugar in it to make it taste good. I'm not trying to offend any one but trying to understand. When you smoked you liked the taste and so you try to duplicate that taste or something similar? I smoked for way to long but never like the taste and since I quite I can't stand the smell. I get it some don't like the taste of beer and rather have wine. I don't get that either because beer is yummy. Just so I understand, it's the taste of tobacco that you crave it's the bomb? If I had to get real I like the smell of skunk bud but I would rather drink beer. Is that ok to say here just delete if not...
Vaping tobacco is different from smoking tobacco. Most people dislike the taste of cigarettes but they smell amazing. Open a pack of tobacco and smell it - personally I love it. That’s what it tastes like vaped. I think vaping tobacco flavorings is like drinking good wine.
Like smoking a cigar? I can almost get into them but not really. I can get into drinking wine, there has been a few I liked. I don't know, for some reason I didn't mind it until I quite smoking. Opening a fresh pack of cigs does nothing for me. I tried to smoke one several years back now and I couldn't finish it. I had ran out of vape and I'm like oh I can just have one. I had a few pulls and put it out. This is after roughly twenty years of smoking. I've never thought they smell amazing. I have smelt some raw tobacco like say you would put into a pipe that smelt interesting. I don't know about now. How many years do you smoke?
this is going to be a good one! I'm pretty sure one of the only gold tobaccos I've tried is the CSC/ CHF gold tobaccos, which is actually very, very tasty. I'm incredibly hesitant to recommend it though, since Chef's decided that they're going to start discontinuing certain flavors out of their line without notice (Oat, Peach Apricot and Peanut Butter have all been removed off their site after being OOS for awhile. Chef's is claiming "low demand", so if anyone can/ wants to, please email them asking them to restock those flavors if you get the chance bc Oat + Peach Apricot were both pretty great, PB wasn't bad but similar to SSA's).
The only tobacco with Gold in its name I tried so far is INW Bahraini Apple Gold and i really like that stuff! I dislike anise in pretty much everything and I also hate licorice (blah blah, anise and licorice aren't the same, i know, i know...) but the anise note combined with apple and hookah tobacco is an amazing combination. I recently tried this Bahraini-Apple-Tobacco recipe with it and enjoyed it for a few weeks in my FeV. Can really recommend it to all mtl vapers. Next up I wanna try Simple Apple Shisha by /u/tbx-12 which also uses INW Bahraini Apple Gold and got recommended alot on the discord like a year ago.

Old flavor notes on INW Gold Ducat at 3% then 2%
2018/01/21 - I like this flavor but it is still perfumey at day 13/14. Needs another week and/or 2 or 2.5% instead of 3. Nice "smokey" characteristic that catches in the back of the throat. Vaping in the Siren v2. Sweet and smoky. Molasses/plum not noticeable yet. Remixed at 2%. Try to steep for 20 or 30 days. Really like this vape despite the perfume note.
Never used it in a recipe. Maybe it would go well with FLV Sweet and Smokey Tobacco?
Now here's an area I know nothing. So this is totally an entry.
A lot of people Midas(k) you what a golden tobacco is
Good one! Why don't you write these titles for me? Next week is Strawberry Lemonade. HELP.
To kinda answer this question but not really, I don't know, but I'll try to find out. I have FE Golden Leaf, FE Golden Virginia, Chefs Super Tobacco Gold, INW 555 Gold, INW Gold Ducat, and INW Gold For Pipe, and I'll try to see if those have anything at all in common that makes them "gold" or if they just threw that word in for marketing.
ugh, i got crushed this week.
Gold for Pipe is maybe out of production? but has a nice mellow taste with a funny off note that is easily covered up with other stuff
Gold Ducat is a great flavor despite having been formulated. It can get 'high in the nose' and florally. I think it's got some kind of honey like elements that just get weird when used too high. It's kinda sryupy and can be used nearly universally where Tatanka is called for but will be a bolden golden wet addition, much more so than Tatanka's darker chewing tobacco syrupy chaw vibe.

Edit: INW Bahraini Apple Gold
Thanks to u/Failyx for the reminder on tbx's Apple Shisha recipe. I love that one too but it is a commitment since that anise note on Bahraini lingers. It's present and possibly even worse at 0.5% because it doesnt come with all the other lovely flavors that surround it when used around 3%. Bold af, but spot on AlNakhla Double Apple Shisha tobacco flavor. The addition of PUR Country Apple fills it out a bit and it's still light enough on tobacco to be pleasant; must LOVE anise. Will linger through next few cycles of flavors too.
