Curious about the 3 2 1 mixing percentage. Is there any others like 6 4 2? How would I incorporate something like fa honey as a base flavor where it's recommended at .25-.50? Does any one have a flavor for sweet and sour mix? I like cocktail vapes a lot. Lemon Sicily with something else? Thanks.

Keep in mind I'm still a noob at mixing, but, my interpretation so far of the "3 2 1" method is that it's a ratio, not the actual used percentages of the flavourings because those will all differ by brand and such. So going by that logic, a 6:4:2 is the exact same ratio as 3:2:1.

So if I was using fa honey as a base at say .50%, we will call that ":1" part.

then my next flavour I would use at 1.0% (which would be the "2:" because it contains two times the value of part ":1"

Then for the "3:" I would use a flavour at 1.5%, because it contains 3 times the value of our initial part 1

So using 3:2:1 you could theoretically start with any flavour base you like at whatever its recommended percentage and go from there, by doubling the percentage of your first flavour for your second flavour, and tripling it for your third, top flavour.

Even flavours added at a 6% 4% 2% mix is still a 3:2:1 ratio

Hope that helps! I could be wrong but this is just the way I've always done "3 2 1." And this way it can work for any percentage of base really. I'm unsure about a sweet & sour mix personally as I usually go for the sweeter mixes myself haha. I believe there is a Sour additive flavour by... TPA was it? I'm not sure, I just know its out there! As far as cocktails go, the only flavour I've tried so far would be Capella's Pina Colada. That might go good with Lemon Sicily! Only one way to find out!

Cheers!

That's a perfectly reasonable approach and probably more sensible in many cases. But it's always been the percentages, not ratios.

Either way, the fun of it is to create rules that force you to be creative. Your interpretation accomplishes that too. :)

My old go-to for nic salt premixes (just add flavoring) now only ships to businesses. I don’t really want to mix VG / PG myself, and I see the recommended vendor list but I’m having trouble deciding. Any recs for the best one? I still have all my flavors, just would like an easy somewhat inexpensive option for some more bottles.

For premixed? I haven't seen it lately but I haven't looked very hard. The problem right now is places are charging sometimes more than double what they used to for nic. And premixed bases have always been more expensive that buying the ingredients separately...

It's less economical than ever to be lazy in that regard. My advice would be to get the ingredients separate and once you've placed that order then look for premix to buy. If for some reason you have a hard time mixing up your own premixed base (you won't) then you'll have some nic in the freezer for a rainy day.

There is no best anymore. You are gambling on nicotine base any time you order
