Here is a simple recipe I came up with once I got Granola from Flavorah. It's like one of my favorite ingredients and it's perfect for making parfait recipes. This recipe uses 2 different yogurt flavorings and I did this to give the mix a wider flavor profile. Here is the recipe below:
APRICOT JAM PARFAIT by Juicy Juice (My E Liquid Recipes User Name)
Apricot (TPA) @ - 4.00%
Apricot (FA) @ - 2.00%
Jam It (VTA) @ - 1.50%
Greek Yogurt (CAP) @ - 3.00%
Creamy Yogurt (CAP) @ - 3.00%
Granola (Flavorah) @ - 1.00%
Super Sweet (CAP) @ - 0.7%
TOTAL FLAVOR PERCENTAGE = (15.2%)
STEEP TIME RECOMENDATION = (14 Days [Min]) (21 Days [Rec])
Like i said i love Flavorah's Granola and i couldn't wait to get it so i could start working with it. The first thing i thought of when i did a smell and knuckle test was that it would go great with Greek Yogurt. Just like real parfait recipes the two flavors (Greek Yogurt and Granola) went so well together. My first recipe using Granola was a simple 1,2,3,4 recipe of Strawberry Red Touch, Granola, Greek Yogurt and Super Sweet and it was so good i just had to make other flavors with my parfait base. The second recipe i thought of was of course Apricots and i just knew deep down that Apricot would go so good with Granola and Greek Yogurt.
Jam It from Vape Train is basically a Jam base that can turn any fruit into a Jam. I was so surprised at how good this concentrate works at doing that. My Apricots actually taste like a freshly jarred Jam and if you get all these ingredients you'll see what I'm talking about.
I decided to add a bit of CAP Creamy Yogurt to give the mix a little bit more of a creamy mouth feel. You get the Tang from the Greek Yogurt and the Creaminess from the Creamy Yogurt :)
I love this recipe and i only post/share recipes i have total confidence in so i really hope you guys enjoy this. I got more recipes I'm going to be sharing soon!! I post my recipes on ELiquid Recipes too and my user name is Juicy Juice
Enjoy :)
Looks delicious, I'll be trying it soon!
Thanks yeah its pretty dang good but it needs to steep!! I recommend at least 21 days but you could probably try it at 14 days. I just notice that with Flavorah Granola the longer it steeps the better it gets. One time I let a mix with it steep for like 30+ days and all these flavors came out that I couldn't even taste at 14 days. Flavors like rasin, honey and the oats came out more too.
I also notice the yogurts come through more and get stronger the longer they steep. Its especially important to let Greek Yogurt steep out because at like 30 days it gets really tangy and rich.
They just really did a good job with Granola and I think I might bite the bullet and buy a big 120ml bottle of it lol
Nice bud..you know who has awesome apricot n every fruit ice tried is VSO FLAVORS like raisen n other hard to find flavors, chili pepper, pumpkin etc but I used to stack my strawberry or blueberry..their strawberry n blueberry, boysenberry, huckleberry, blackberry are almost 1 shots as they touch all the bases.Swaggy Shane has the fruits in all of my lineup and I have a lot! Its a combo between ripe, sweet, natural n candied all in one.Just saying VSO has been a game changer in my fruit fruit ices, creams, medlys etc plus they have 3 puddings that might work well in a parfait 👍
