As always, the purpose of this thread is to gather the community to explore a category of flavor and its many uses.

####Q: How do flavors get put on the schedule?
####A: Requests and suggestions from people like YOU!
If there's something you'd like to see, just post a request in this thread. You can request both a specific flavor profile and where it lands on the calendar.
So, what is the difference between "cocoa" and "chocolate"? It looks to me like there are more cocoa + something flavors as there is plain cocoa. Same thing with chocolate.
I do not want to buy more flavors. I do not want to buy more flavors. I do not want to buy more flavors. My wife is going to kill me for ordering more flavors. What else can I buy to make this order worth while? (rhetorical question)
Cocoa (ground cocoa beans) is about as far from chocolate as ground coffee is from a insert fancy barrista concoction here. Cocoa reminds me most of cinnamon powder (dry, bitter, and requires all the other ingredient of an apple pie to shine.)
Not sure how that translates to the various concentrates though, I've never been a fan of artificial cocoa/chocolate tastes and the few I've tried with vaping don't even get me to a yeah I could see how someone might confuse that with chocolate place.
I really enjoyed Schnobsters Peanutbutter Cocoa Recipe a few months ago! It was a first time for me on all three cocoa flavors he used lol. But they seem to work very well!
I‘ve tried JF Cocoa and FA Cocoa this week while trying to make a remix of Tom Klark’s Elysium. I realized that you should shake FA Cocoa very very well before using it - it seems to separate in the flavoring bottle. Very powdery and not really sweet it’s pretty much exactly what I was looking for. JF Cocoa tastes maybe a bit better but it’s also sweeter which was not what I was looking for. Both very potent, no need to go higher than 1%!
The coil gunk on that FA Cocoa is no joke. Don’t put that in a tank, you’ll have to re-wick too soon for it to be worth it
Damn, gotta change my recipe before even finishing it lol
I thought you knew what you were getting yourself into, that comment was more for the comment-readers, whoever they might be.
But if it's not too late, yeah, don't use that. Tell me, is your FA Cocoa in a clear bottle? If so, is there sediment or discoloration in the bottom of the bottle?
It would be lovely to make a Mint Cocoa with maybe some hints of Espresso or Coffee Notes? Ya gotta have Marshmallows too!! I'd imagine there's quite a few ways you could compliment Cocoa. Being new to DIY, I'm definitely jumping ahead of my capability, but it's fun to think about all the possibilities!
I'm also pretty new to DIY and I can definitely recommend you irish cream for some creamy goodness. INW Cappucino is pretty damn strong but I'm experimenting with it right now to make it work :D
I could also imagine some fruity things to work with cocoa. Think along the lines of Banana (LA Banana Cream is DELICIOUS), some light undertones of cherry, etc. Some Tabaccos or Vanillas may also pair pretty well, although I haven't dived into many of those so far.

Awesome! Thank you for your Feedback!
I never thought of Banana with Cocoa, nice! I definitely agree now that you mentioned it how certain Fruits could pair well. Even a tad of Coconut could be yummy or Hazelnut. Adding in creaminess, I think all in all it could be a great cold weather concoction to experiment with!
For sure! I'm gonna need to start a list for my next order, and my first one wasn't even a month ago :D Coconut also sounds great. For a more winter-y feel you could also use Apple Filling, cranberries or evergreen. TFA Pear in low dosages (1-1.5%) could also add some light tartness, while adding a "wet" feel. That could go along well with some light cremes, too. It's coincidentally also my favourite flavor to mix with, so take this with a grain of salt.
I think you might want to check out FLV Irish Cream for several of those notes, just need to add some mint and maybe some more cocoa
I don't have much experience with cocoa after being scared off by FA Cocoa. however, JF Cocoa is fairly similar to FA's, but not as dry; JF's is clear + won't murder your coils. I need to find more uses for it! looking forward to hearing more about Cocoa tonight on Noted.
I really need to try more chocolates in general, what are your guys favourites?
Are there any which are similar to any well known chocolate brands like Cadbury's or Hershey's
VT Chocolate Mousse, HS Australian Chocolate, BF Chocolate Truffle if you can get it, FLV Chocolate Deutsche, VT Chocolate Milk, OoO Chocolate Milk, MB Creamy Cake, MF Dark Chocolate, VT Devon Cream, VT Macadamia Nut... I'm sure I'm missing a few just off the top of my head.
None of them do a really great job of tasting exactly like a well-known chocolate brand, unless you count Tootsie Rolls. Or Hershey's chocolate syrup, there are ones that taste quite a bit like that stuff.
I've heard good things about MF Dark Chocolate and FA Cocoa/FA Chocolate (mixed) but haven't tried them. Which of them would be good to create a "Thin Mint" mix? Would FLV Creme de Menthe work best, or just any mint?
Of the concentrates you have lined up for this week, which will we see more of?
- Cocoa - a dry powdery component of chocolate
- Cocoa - a hot chocolate drink
Great title Dave. I was thinking didn't you all just do chocolate. Then I read it again...
Cocoa, is very close to dark chocolate.
Chocolate is a tough flavor in vape. Many aren't very good and can gunk up coils.
That being said. I like FLV creme de menthe to make a mint chocolate ice cream and
VT chocolate mousse to make chocolate pudding
Can't wait for the episode, my wife wants a hot chocolate recipe, but non of the chocolate I have is really right for it.
I tried FA Cocoa with ooo Marshmallow Vanilla and a little super sweet quite some time ago and the result was good. I hope this gives you some ideas.
My fav cocoa is JF Cocoa but it has a problem where as it steeps, it just keeps getting stronger and stronger, so 0.2% or less is what I try to stick to:
Ingredient|% :---|---: Banana (Bano) (FA)|1.00 Banana Cream (TPA)|4.00 Cocoa (Jungle Flavors)|0.15 Lava Cake (LB)|2.00 Sweetener (Sucralose) (FW)|1.00 Vanilla Custard (Bickford)|1.50 Vanilla Custard II (TPA)|0.75
Flavor total: 10.4%
