New vaper here. Got a bunch of different kinds of juices (0mg to 50mg, freebase and nic salts) to experiment and see what works for me. There are a lot of them that i dont like but feels like a waste to throw them away. I feel like making them mentholy would salvage them in a way...is there a simple way to add menthol to any juice? If so where can I get such a thing? Would local vape shops sell it or do I have to buy online?
Thanks
Yes. You can get Menthol from a flavor vendor. I recommend FW Menthol from Bull City Flavors.

Awesome, will try this out. Thanks
Are there any mixing guides or just experiment by dropping couple of drops directly into the juice?
Your local vape shops are not likely to carry what you need unless you're lucky enough to have one that sells DIY supplies.
You have many options for "mentholating" your juice dependent on preference. You need to determine if you want true Menthol (like a cough drop or Menthol Cigarette), Mint (and if so what kind of mint), or just cooling.
For pure cooling you're going to want WS-23 and/or Flavor Art (FA) Polar Blast. Check the side-bar for beginner mixing tips and vendors. Check out this vid for a good breakdown on cooling and this or this for Peppermint and Mint recommendations.
well yeah, you can buy menthol flavoring. Check the Vendors tap in the "required reading" section of the sub. My personal favorite is the "Flavor Apprentice"
Out of curiosity, what's off about the flavor? Just a mild throat hit?
Got it, thanks.
Yeah, it's mostly not enough throat hit with flavor, or too much with no flavor. I think the 12 mg freebase has the throat hit i need, but the flavoring wasnt that great on the ones i got
Yeah, that's pretty common. I'd recommend adding some liquor flavors to your list too. Menthol is sometimes overpowering. I like to use Absinth or Gin for lighter or fruiter flavors. It is going to sound strange, but sometimes cucumber flavor is great for rounding out some of the more intense blends as well.
