Created this one about a month ago and have been tinkering with the percentages for a while until I got it where I think is best. It's a very simple flavor and is absolutely delicious. I'm a really big fan of desserts. Most notably, custards and cheesecakes. The only downside to these profiles is that sometimes they get old quickly because they can be so rich. I wanted to come up with a nice & sweet dessert recipe that wouldn't get tiring. Blueberry is the perfect choice for that IMO because it is slightly tart, this can really help to bring a contrast to the rich & creamy profile.

Originally, I was using much more bavarian cream, but it was bringing out too much of a vanilla note. Eventually I settled on 2%. Here it adds the perfect amount of a "heavy cream" note to the recipe. It works well with the cheesecake to bring forth more of the dairy notes.

The new york cheesecake is pretty self explanatory here, it serves as the base of the recipe. This is a popular flavoring and for good reason, its pretty much everything you need in a cheesecake (In my experience). Sweet cream cheese icing, a little bit of butter, and some crust notes as well.

I could have focused more on the crust by adding some other flavorings into the mix, but I wanted to keep this simple. I also personally get everything I could ask for in a cheesecake out of this one. I know that some people find it to not be "complete" enough to stand on its own, so feel free to play around by adding some other stuff if you really want to fill it out.

Lastly, the TFA Blueberry wild. 10% is higher than average, but I find this flavoring to be pretty weak. At 10% it doesn't feel overbearing to me at all here, it stands out on the top of the mix and has a nice & deep authentic flavor. This has been my personal favorite Blueberry out of all the ones i've tried. You could lower it in the mix if its too much for you, or maybe pair it with some other blueberries. I know people can be picky when it comes to BB.

Short disclaimer..

I didn't develop this with other peoples tastes in mind. But to me, its perfect and has become a favorite. I've blown through close to 200mls of this in the past week. Mixed up a 30ml for a friend a few days ago and they already want another lol.

All this being said, I think this is a great start to something more. It definitely has potential to be something even better, I'm just happy where its at right now and don't have a desire to work on it anymore. If someone adapted to this more, that would be really cool and I'd be happy to try it out.

I mix something very similar, but with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream instead of cheesecake. I'm def gonna give this a try.

Looks promising. Thank you for sharing. I had given up on blueberry recipes a year ago but will try this on the weekend. I have subbed blueberry in many strawberry cheesecake recipes but most were more complex so the simplicity of this might just do the trick.
