####Q: How do flavors get put on the schedule?
####A: Requests and suggestions from people like YOU!
If there's something you'd like to see, just post a request in this thread. You can request both a specific flavor profile and where it lands on the calendar.
I'd like to give a shoutout and a big Thank You to /u/Craigasaurous for the selection of One-on-One flavors that he put up as a prize and I luckily won during last night's episode of Noted .
I hope everyone noticed in the contest details last week that you can use the code RULEDME for 15% off at One on One. That's one of the biggest discounts I've seen.

Two week steep (minimum). A dark, more caramel version.
Would it work without FA Catallan? I don't have that flavor. Or can I replace it with Vienna Cream?
am i the only person on earth that owns TFA french vanilla II? what the hell can i do with this thing
Is vanilla bean different?
I think so. This is just totally my own half-assed way of looking at vanilla and not like anything backed up by any sort of science or scholarship, but. I tend to think of vanillas has usually fitting into one of four to five categories, each I give a color to. On one end of the spectrum, you've got your bright as fuck white vanilla that's like candy vanilla, cheap vanilla ice cream/frosting, that sort of thing. Then you'd have a sort of off-white that's more of the "Tahitian" vanilla, that's bright but also has fruity/nutty notes, and the ones with pleasant floral-type notes. Then yellow, that's where I put French vanilla, because the egg yolks in the French vanilla ice cream turn it yellow. It's right in the middle of all of that, and because of the custardy ice cream, it's not unexpected to find some rich custard notes right there in the French vanilla flavor. At the very least, it's not going to be as bright as the violently artificial ones or the fruity/floral ones, but it's not dark either, and it should taste natural and full. Then you have the brown ones, the darker extracty bourbon vanillas and the more malty ones (Both FA Vanilla Bourbon and DIYVS OG Holy Vanilla RIP go here). And then on the last end of the spectrum, the black, spicy flecks of vanilla bean. Again, I made all this up just now. It was already all up inside my head, kinda, but this is the first time I can recall actually typing it out and trying to make it into something coherent. It's ok to tell me how stupid it is and how you're going to get revenge for all the time you just wasted reading this.
Do you have a examples for each category?
I agree French Vanilla (my favorite btw) is the "yellow eggy vanilla." How about TFA Bav Cream? Vanilla Swirl? FA Vienna? Cap NYC?
I think so yes in real life flavor they’re different. Vanilla bean is made with actual vanilla bean that gives it the little black specks. French Vanilla is a vanilla custard made with egg yolks and vanilla extract.
The only French Vanilla I have much experience with is French Vanilla Deluxe (TPA). I just started playing with it because I loved smelling it, but I've had some bad experiences with creamy vanillas in the past just taking over recipes, so I started slow and added just half a percent to a recipe I knew would stand up to it (Rumplemax, a peppermint patty filling attempt that I keep in my rotation pretty much year round).
In this case, the peppermint was more than enough to stand up to that small amount of French Vanilla, so I'm thinking I'll up it to 1% in the future.
I'm curious what others may have been doing with this flavor - I've long wanted to like creams and custards, but even after steeps, I find that the flavors dominate everything else so much that I don't enjoy it as much as I hope (looking at you, CAP Vanilla Custard, my off-and-on love). In this case I'm trying to slowly increase it to bring a nice vanilla cream note to the party without body-slamming everything else that makes this juice work for me.
I love a good bright French Vanilla. Curious to hear which hidden gems I missed.
I'm curious to see which of the flavors are the "vanilla custard" definition of french vanilla vs the "strong vanilla" definition. I'm guessing a lot of the former actually.
Vanilla Cream base| % ---|--- CAP Sugar Cookie | 1.0% TFA Dairy Milk | 1.5% TFA White Chocolate | 3% CAP French Vanilla | 2% FW Yogurt | 1.5% CAP Super Sweet | 1.0% Total | 10%
I use this as a base for sweet creams, like strawberries and cream or mango cream.
Strawberries & Cream | % ---|--- INW Shisha Strawberry | 2.0% TFA Strawberry (ripe) | 2.5% TFA Strawberry | 1% Total | 5.5%
I also have a very simple Vanilla custard-ish flavor that I like from time to time.

Vanilla. One of my greatest loves and one of the most difficult to find what I really want. I'm really interested to hear your thoughts on all the French Vanilla flavors. I've been messing with WF French Vanilla (Thick) a bit lately and have been enjoying it. Can't wait for Monday!
Oohh! I don't think I've ever used French vanilla anything. I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has to say on this one! Would love to try some French vanilla flavors. Isn't there a really good TPA French vanilla deluxe that's pretty good?
Love that flavor
Okay. So I have like 4 friends vanilla flavors, 😂 CAP French vanilla TPA French Vanilla creme TPAFrench Vanilla Deluxe HS French Vanilla Ice cream WF French Vanilla Thick I’m pretty sure I’ve used the last 2 of them but not the others. Would love to try the TPA French Vanilla deluxe. Any recipe suggestions?
I was actually just thinking about this. I was wondering if I could use a high quality vanilla extract to make this flavor. As with olive oil, many brands of vanilla extract have been tested to be fake. Not surprising, as vanilla is a very expensive herb, requires hand pollination ect. A brand that was found to be real vanilla is simply organic. I was thinking about evaporating some off in a dish and then pouring in an unflavored ejuice. With some scraping and mixing, it would create a real deal vanilla juice. There also may be a better method, but if this works I'm sure it will be my go-to for making this flavor.
Hello! You have made the mistake of writing "ect" instead of "etc."
"Ect" is a common misspelling of "etc," an abbreviated form of the Latin phrase "et cetera." Other abbreviated forms are etc., &c., &c, and et cet. The Latin translates as "et" to "and" + "cetera" to "the rest;" a literal translation to "and the rest" is the easiest way to remember how to use the phrase.
