TT: 2021 BEST recipes!!!
submitted almost 4 years ago by isuamadogRenaissance Mixer

It's that time of the year, folks, and the doggo isn't above a bit of clickbait. Here's a summary of the top voted recipes (at the end of each month -- some may have had more upvotes since). In preparation of getting ready for Recipe of the Year posts, I figured now was a good time to start digging into some older threads and seeing what I been missing out on. This is a roundup of the first 10 months of monthly recipe thread winners from 2021. Don't overlook the rest of the recipes posted; some of them look very interesting and maybe didnt have the MOST upvotes but speak to you nonetheless!

DIY TOP 10

|Month| Recipe | Mixer| |--|--|--| | January | VIVA La COLA | u/VIVAVAPE | | February | 1-2-3 Black Apple | u/Teezixx | | March | 1-2-3 VIC | u/ID10-T | | April | Macnut Banana Cream | u/Jakinbox1982 | | May | Tipsy Pear | u/Failyx | | June | Apple Cinnamon Donut | u/VIVAVAPE | | July | Draconian Topics Kuri Remix | u/kuri_sanTou | | August | Changes in Latitude | u/kontravention | | September | Mango Mango | u/deurotelle | | October | The Ultimate SB Donut | u/Steve-TC |

I've mixed only one of these but intend to get around to at least a few more as some appeal to me. but do make sure to look through the comments to see if anything grabs your eye as there are generally hidden gems waiting to be mined.

Which ones have you tried? Which recipes were YOUR favorite this year?

Make sure to check out this month's active November Recipe Thread and upload your recipes, upvote the ones that look good and, hey, maybe even consider mixing up something! Be sure to leave a review!

Check out the 2020 Recipe Roundup and see what you missed last year!!!

I'm obsessed with Cocoliconut Cream Pie. It 100% changed my mind on black liquorice + after sampling a tester, I decided to buy the flavors for it. I left a really detailed review for anyone interested. I can't sing enough praise about this mix!

The Ultimate SB Donut is the only one of those Ive tried, I like it .. but have plans to mix them all with the exception on 123 black apple.. hate black licorice in general, have never vaped it. So still may give it a go once anyway

It's more anise than black licorice but may be what you think of when you think black licorice. SSA Anise is a solid flavor if you like that sort of thing and FM Blackberry is great.

I want to try that Mango one but I guess you can't find tfa nectarine on Bull City? Guess I'll have to wait until I need to order something else from another site.

Go ahead and substitute any brand nectarine, or try it with a peach concentrate. Or just try with the 2 mangoes. It's all good.

Yea I've thought about doing that. Problem is, there's quite a few other recipes I want to try that use it, so it is a flavor I would get use out of if I just bought it off another site lol.

That's a good problem to have.

TFA Nectarine is SO good! It's available at Chef's.

SSA Nectarines is also amazing, idk how well it would substitute in the mango recipe but it could be worth a try.

Thank you for choosing the right label for the best recipes, u/isuamadog. If you haven’t tried, I recommend to mix Melon Glazed Donut.

Even if you don’t agree always ask u/ID10-T. 😉
