This thread is for you to share what you are vaping lately, be it your own or another mixers recipe. Maybe you happened to stumble upon your new ADV in the Monthly Recipes Thread? Or did someone recommend your first mix to you in the Suggest a recipe for my flavors Thread
Share what you liked or didn't like too much, but most importantly, please make sure to properly link to the recipe and to the mixer if they're on reddit.
If you need some inspiration, some websites keep track of your mixes and batches: e-Liquid Recipes and All The Flavors.
Also make sure to checkout last week's thread for inspiration or to follow up on a mix that turned out even better after a week of steeping! We keep an archive of all the past threads in our wiki as well
Happy Vaping!
Sorry to all who missed the thread last week, I might make it up by posting this one twice ;-P
I've been rather enamoured with SomeSortof Hobbs Unicorn by Hobbs DeVape on ELR.
It's a custardy biscuity masterpiece with a bunch of optional tweaks, and I go with Hobbs' personal recommendation of the extra 2% Custard Premium.
It's notable because it solves a "me" problem. Custard is one of my all-time favourite IRL treats, and it's really frustrating when I can't find a vape flavour that satisfies. The famous CAP VC1 tastes lovely.. for about one draw, before my tastebuds barricade themselves against it. Molinberry Legendary Custard is a nice authentic British custard.. but it gets sickly really fast. Inawera Custard does absolutely nothing for me. Similar story for TFA.
But where all others failed, this primarily FA Custard Premium based recipe broke right through and hit the spot, with that biscuity, cheesecake crust twist adding just the perfect amount of interest to give it staying power over the course of a tank. My tastebuds still get a little fatigued and impervious to it after a few sequential tanks, but having a fresh fruity flavour in between stints seems to reset it nicely. And the real coup de grace, it's all possible with just 4 concentrates in a 3/2/1/1 configuration (well, 4/3/1/1 after the suggested tweak), making it an absolute bargain to mix!
Like I say, enamoured.
Totally agree, Hobb's unicorn with a few personal twists is by far the best custard recipe I've tried so far - nothing else comes close for me, absolute masterpiece imo.
I've slept on this a little but coincidentally have a bottle of Hobbs steeping for about week now. I have yet to try it but it does smell promising already!
Currently vaping my all time favorite, Rainforest by Rocky Harlow
and currently working on a rainbow candy recipe.
Still looking for an ADV non-fruity bakery/dessert....
Any idea how well this recipe would work in a mtl tank?
Oatmeal Cream Pie by u/folkart
I was nervous about the gingerbread but it's just enough. A lovely light, creamy gingerbread bakery.
Coconut Rice Candy by sweetnsour42012 on ATF
This is pretty good in the .Blank around day 10. Rice fading already, not prominent. Slightly too sweet. A smidge dry which keeps it in the 30ml bracket. Might regret mixing a 50ml but will definitely mix a few more 30s. The Toasted Almond gives it a bit of a bakery aspect - while vaping I thought it had INW Biscuit. The Sweet Lychee is very nice, one of my favorite flavors. Very solid recipe but next time I will lower the sweetener a smidge since I had changed it to 0.6% FW Sweetener and still found it too sweet.
