As always, the purpose of this thread is to gather the community to explore a category of flavor and its many uses.

####Q: How do flavors get put on the schedule?
####A: Requests and suggestions from people like YOU!
If there's something you'd like to see, just post a request in this thread. You can request both a specific flavor profile and where it lands on the calendar.
I’m curious if there could be a distinction between a mix with a smoothie flavor versus one without a smoothie flavor and how it would compare to milkshake/yogurt version. I can’t wrap my head around it so someone who has had the opportunity to mix with it would have to clear that up.
I don't think I've ever paid much mind to the idea of a smoothie vs making either a yogurt or a cream flavor.
How meaningful do you think the distinction is between a smoothie and a yogurt + fruit recipe?
Beats the hell out of me, I don't even know what a smoothie is other than it's like baby food for grown ups
fruit, blender, and optionally some combination of dairy products and/or "healthy" additions. That's about it.
I suppose the biggest difference between a smoothie and a fruity baby food is that you should be able to manage the smoothie with a straw.
I'm trying to think in regards to a vape recipe though, how different would a yogurt based smoothie present from just yogurt + fruit? I don't know that I'd really feel a need to differentiate between the two.
Anybody wanna try to make a protein shake vape juice?
Starting to DIY juice and this would be very helpful!
TxWL you won the Smoothie flavors. Congratulations! PM me for details on how to collect those.
AND /u/isuamadog is doubling the pot! I think he has a gift card for you.
i don't have much to contribute for smoothie mixing, however i do use all of my ex-beloved fructose-containing FW flavors in my morning protein smoothies. forever grateful to u/isuamadog for that life-changing suggestion. i'm looking forward to hearing about smoothie recipes!
So newbie question when mixing to make a smoothie how do you know what percentage for each flavor if you were going to mix without a recipe?
Strawberry milk from OSDIYS was a real good mix. Along with real flavors strawberry milkshake, little bit more strawberry, dairy milk, and vienna cream. Was epic when I made it years ago. Definitely was different than just adding yogurt like I have on others.
Will you guys be doing any recipes on the show this week? I am looking forward to seeing what you guys have to say about some of the smoothie bases and what the differences between them are.
I don't know about the others, but I've picked out six recipes to try that use smoothie flavors:
Before this, I'd only tried 3 smoothie recipes, OCD, Tropical Smoothie, and Mega Fruit Smoothie, all of which were delicious.
This should be an interesting show. FA forest fruit should fit here. I'm not sure on if you're going to add cream or yogurt.
Would an orange julius count as a smoothie?
I think it's great that One On One is getting onboard with DIY. I don't know what happened with Bullcity and One On One. It seems One On One isn't playing well with others. I don't know who is to blame so I shouldn't comment. They're a USA company and I would love to support them but they got to get their prices down some and easier to get. 9$ for a 30ml is a bit much and now you just about have to get them from their website. I'm just saying what needs to be said...
I believe OOO just wanted to cut out the middleman, which equals more $$ for them in the end. Actually, $9 for a 30ml isn't that outrageous. I've paid more than that for some Flavorah's at Bull City! They also occasionally have some amazing deals pop up on Amazon.
I looked a little at Amazon for OOO. Do you have to pay shipping for each item?
Their prices are a little high. My biggest grip is having to buy directly from them. I haven't looked in awhile but remember shipping being high. If they had free shipping on over $50 and cut prices by 20% they would sell a lot more.
When I was first getting started I was surprised how easy FW is to work with. You can buy directly from them at a good price but their shipping was stupidly high.
I'm disabled so I have to watch my spending so maybe it's just me...
