As always, the purpose of this thread is to gather the community to explore a category of flavor and its many uses.

####Q: How do flavors get put on the schedule?
####A: Requests and suggestions from people like YOU!
If there's something you'd like to see, just post a request in this thread. You can request both a specific flavor profile and where it lands on the calendar.
They say "Blood is thicker than Water" - meaning family comes before friends.
Maple Syrup is thicker than blood - does that mean pancakes are more important than Grandma?
FA Maple syrup for the win. Any better out there?
That I've already tried? IMO, No. FA Maple Syrup isn't perfect - it's a bit thin in an under-sweet way, just lacking that sticky sweet syrupy body - and the way it grows with a steep and can take over all the top notes is a little annoying for mixing. But it tastes really clean and on-point, definitely maple, doesn't have any of the off notes that others do. But I do have a few new maples to try for the first time this week, so maybe one will top it.
I hope so. I’ve been messing with Maple since the beginning and so far, WF Maple Syrup Candy + CAP Maple Syrup (Pancake) has gotten me the furthest.
Did you come up with this all by yourself? I often wonder if when you’re lying in bed trying to sleep, the flavor names obnoxiously swirl around in your head until you have a eureka moment. I have to edit this to add, I’m actually wary of trying maple, given what vaping honey has done to my ability to enjoy honey in life. I will wait until this show, and pick only what is noted approved.
Friend: I just told my wife that your ability to come up with puns like "syruptitiously" makes me hurt deep down in my soul.
Me: Mission Accomplished.
I could stop wasting money on maple candles with some maple aroma/flavors!
Love me some waffle sauce
Maple is delicious, but had anyone pulled off a birch syrup? I've been googling recipes but real luck. It essentially has a little wintergreen added in, same as Birch beer.
- Blueberry, Wild (TPA) - 6.00%
- Cheesecake (Graham Crust) - 1.50%
- Maple (TPA) - 3.50%
- Super Sweet (CAP) - 0.50%
- Sweet Cream (CAP) - 1.00%
- Waffle (CAP) - 3.00%
This was a failed attempt at a clone, but i like it so its been my ADV for a while.
I might try this out I think I have everything already.
~I love it, it reminds me of a cherry bakewell.~
Edit: wrong recipe, the recipe I posted is for a waffle and Maple syrup and cream clone attempt.(pancake man by vape breakfast classics)
But I messed up my flavor notes.
I don't have a maple flavoring. I've heard FA maple is good and the newer WF maple.
Sometimes the wife gets these soft maple graham cookies with a vanilla frosting in the middle. Tasty, but can't eat a lot of them.
Seems it wouldn't be to hard to make something like that...
I missed the maple sappily syrup pancake train. I never liked all that sugar with pancakes but love sugary drinks...
Thanks Noted crew for all you do.
I used to be all about TPA Maple Deluxe forever ago (don't bother trying it before a good steep tho) until I burned myself out on "breakfast vapes".
TPA Belgian Waffle is a really overpowering, in your face, cheap maple to me.
FW Maple Pecan is awesome, it's slightly toasted pecans with maple sugar dust on them; a thin accent flavor that needs help from a solid base.
FW Vanilla Butternut is probably my favorite maple, thanks to the full syrupy mouthfeel, slight vanilla note + sweetness it can naturally add into mixes.
FA Maple is pretty decent, but it's more reminiscent of a very sweet, maple-ish syrup to me, like if the cheap diabetes-inducing plastic-bottled syrup had a "maple flavor" version that came in a sugar crystal form. the mouthfeel is unfortunately pretty dry (easily fixed, but that fact annoys me for syrup purposes; love this with baccos + a hint of FA Honey tho).
CHF Maple Syrup wasn't bad at all at 2%, but it wasn't as intense as I'd hoped it would be. Great for when you want a bit of syrupy sweet maple that won't overpower. Most maple flavors seem to be big bullies, not this one.
I don't have WF Maple Candy or FLV Maple Bar, looking forward to hearing more about them! CAP Maple Syrup (Pancake) is so dark it's been intimidating to want to SFT.
Just had breakfast for dinner which I heard is unique to the northeast. Maple farmers up here have weekends where you get to go to visit their sugar shacks to try their syrup and other maple related foods. I’ve only mixed a couple maple recipes. Been wanting to pair a good maple with the notes of NF Burnt Sugar. It has the notes of a well browned pancake that had syrup soaked in the crust of it. Maybe not explained the best but it reminds me of a short stack from a New Hampshire pancake house.
Now that you mention it, yes it does. A pancake cooked with butter, specifically.
Breakfast for dinner is not unique to the northeast, I have breakfast tacos for dinner almost weekly
