Howdy kids,

In case you haven't had the pleasure of being around long enough to remember the lovely DIY Digests by our very own u/Apexified, you are really missing out. Especially since I haven't had the time to write any posts of my own much lately (several in the works...), I asked for his blessing to try to actually help moderate and do some quick highlights. But first...

Throwback Highlight

Here it is, folks, the first DIY Digest in all its glory. 3 years ago!!! :shakes head: I can't even believe that the time has flown by; it truly feels like a lifetime ago. I remember starting off my week every Monday looking for the Digest and seeing how much great stuff I'd missed from the week before.

DIY_ejuice Featured Recurring Thread

On the first day of the month, a monthly recipe thread is posted. Here is where you get to share your creations with the greater community, peruse for new recipes to try or things to steal. November's already in one day already has almost as many entries as did all of October. Do check back as the month progresses as recipes can be shared even up until the last day of the month as u/DaveN2KL snuck one in at the last minute. Do share your stuff and follow the guidelines for commenting please. Do also use u/TeslaDelMar's awesome atf plug-in for Chrome to post with a click of a button (and Markdown mode).

Last Week's Highlights

• u/EdibleMalfunction fielded the whopping two questions in the extremely underutilized New Mixer's Questions Thread where no question is too dumb to ask. I seriously used the crap out of that thread when I was new and Ed was there to help me out along with all levels of mixers. Have a gander at this week's thread and see if there's a question you can't answer. Don't forget to return to it every so often and give back when you can!
• u/ID10-T missed an opportunity to make a pun based on Semi-Sweet dreams (are made of this) but didn't let us down either in last week's Flavor or the Week: Dark Chocolate thread. Look for this week's Maple today and comment to win a prize from everyone's favorite flavor company, Bull City Flavors
• u/eljay4k found some cheap 10mL glass craft bottles to store eliquid. Discussion ensuing about whether it was worth the effort or even safe to cork stopper juice but, if they're happy (and safe), then we're happy for them.
• u/jessicawater continued our bottle theme discussion in a post more appropriate for the new mixer's thread, with the taciturn hit 'n run post Bottles. Canadians, amirite, eh?
• in fact, we had several questions that likely belonged in the New Mixer's Thread here, here, and here.
• the staggeringly sparse Eliquid post about vaping zero nic sparked a brief discussion giving our zero nic vapers a chance to band together and assure us there's life after nic. One day, I plan to join your ranks!
• u/Steve-TC controlled his temper enough to use the wickedly handy flavor review template made by our very own u/OdieDooDah to give us a review of JF Ultimate Strawberry. Strawberry mutes, chime in on whether y'all can taste it or not, please.
• lastly, u/Electronic-Cap-7044 was kind enough to brave their fear of chocolate vapes to do a one-shot review with a healthy 6 week steep. If it doesn't taste like Jessica Alba, Im not sure I want it.
