As always, the purpose of this thread is to gather the community to explore a category of flavor and its many uses.

####Q: How do flavors get put on the schedule?
####A: Requests and suggestions from people like YOU!
If there's something you'd like to see, just post a request in this thread. You can request both a specific flavor profile and where it lands on the calendar.
Is "$20 worth of SOUR flavors" a reward or a punishment?

I know this is going to sound bizarre... But trust me. 5% Cap blueberry jam, 2% cap cantaloupe. It has a pretty good sour kick to it thanks to the blueberry jam (I love the flavor itself but nothing about it reminds me of a blueberry or jam. I get a tart candy from it that tastes fantastic) The cantaloupe was done by accident originally because I grabbed the wrong flavor by mistake.
They play together well and it just creates this strange sour candy vibe with a little bit of a sweet fruity exhale.
Are Limes sour?
Co. | Flavor | %
---|---|----
FA | Lime Tahity (Cold Pressed) | 1
INW | Shisha Vanilla | 0.75
CAP | Super Sweet | 0.25
TFA | Vanilla Custard II | 0.75
VT | Yoghurt Drink | 6
SNV - 3 days. Sweetener optional
They can be. I have a "Sour Lime" flavor to try this week.
I've been chasing this flavor. I still haven't found one I really like. TPA sour is ok. WF sour ball candy is good. WF sour gummy candy is my favorite.
Wayne posted about sour. As a newbie I found it helpful. https://diyordievaping.com/2017/11/27/stop-using-tfa-sour-beginner-diy-ejuice-tips/
As always I'll be watching thanks Noted crew.
SOUR!!!!! I've been waiting for this FOTW! General consensus is that WF sour ball candy is one of, if not the best.
I have really old + unloved bottles of WL Sour (prob TPA?), LA Sour + Tart, NN Tartaric/ Citric/ Malic Acids lying around somewhere. I gave up on "sour" pretty quickly, but as a kid I ate Warheads/ Sour Skittles til my mouth was raw, so my expectations for "sour vapes" must've been too high.
I like adding CAP Sweet Currant or Euro Sour Apple to tart up fruit mixes. Really looking forward to this episode as sour isn't something I've explored in a very long time.
Curse you! I'd forgotten sour skittles existed and now I want some so bad.
Now I have sour grapes by the descendants stuck in my head.....
awesome! my dad took me to the 95 Warped Tour to see Sublime when I was 6 or 7 (mom was pissed lol) + they played Sour Grapes live. My dad played the OG Descendants version for me + I was hooked on them. all downhill from there haha. thanks for bringing up some great memories
Is citric acid still a thing?
There was loads of discussion about it on this sub in its early days, but sounds like it isn't used much now. Is it because of safety concerns or just ineffectiveness?
When I think sour, I think citrus, and I am not generally a fan of citrus flavors. However, I did try this and enjoyed it: https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/3427#best_damn_pink_lemonade_by_vurve
Bit dated. If you liked that try Pink punch lemonade clone

This is my go to sour
Pucker up baby
Wanted to mix that at one point but couldn't find the OOO blue razz candy
It really does pull it all together too, it was one of the last flavours I added when I created the recipe. The blue raspberry tasted a little off without it. I use those 3 blue raspberries now anytime I want a full blue raspberry taste throughout a vape profile.
Is there such thing as an actual sour vape?
sort of, kind of
I think the sourest thing I've tasted to date is FLV Sour Apple (not really very sour, but still) but I'm about to line up 25 so-called sour flavors and see. Most of them will probably taste like sour gummy candy with all the sour already licked off.
Did you see the note on the noted page on bull city? I just adore how engaged bull city is with the DIY community.
What the hell lol
Can you be sour blind or is sour just one of the additives that hasn’t been conquered yet? I never really get that sour mouth pucker or close when I use sour flavorings or additives
