Since my precious ADV is officially 60 ml from being extinct, i bought some equipment so I can DIY a clone recipe hopefully for this weekend. I dont have any specific question, but are there any common pitfalls I should avoid?
What did you buy? Let's go over that first.
200×.01g scale, pipettes, and a bunch of flavorings, 100mg 50/50 nic, VG, PG, from Perfect Vape. I did some research and that seemed to be all that was needed for now at least. I got some empty and rinsed bottles laying around for the starting batch at least. Anything else you'd recommend?
What do you use to vape as far as hardware is it a pod or reg mod and rda or sub tank
Mod and RDA. Initially I wanted an RDA just for flavor tests. But I ended up liking it so much I just made it my daily
Ok the reason I ask was you said you got 50/50 base that's a little thin for a rda its useable , I suggest using 70/30
>that's a little thin for a rda
The beauty of an RDA/RTA is you can wick appropriately for the ratio. Yes, 50/50 is a little thin for some tanks, but you can make your wicking thicker to compensate. I use a Wotofo Elder Dragon for testing recipes I develop for use in pods.
Is mixing salts any more difficult than juice?
Flavor ban is coming to Canada and I'd like to get a head start.
Thanks.
I have a pretty amber bottle of VG nic that is vaping harsh, even after steeping for a couple weeks. Should I mix it with some clear nic that isn't bad to help mellow it out, or just toss it?
Mixing with better nicotine is just going to be a waste of the better nicotine. I assume you have verified it is the nicotine making it harsh?
I've enjoyed Freemans strawberry rice pudding in the past and I'd like to do something similar with a twist.
What I'm having a problem with is the potential combinations to make it happen, and I was wondering if anyone had any experience and input on what might work best to make the rice pudding base.
I was thinking a horchata flavor in combination with FLV cream, or Fresh Cream, or Bavarian Cream could work as a rice pudding.
I also had the idea that sweet rice or crispy rice, vanilla pudding, and maybe a custard or bavarian cream would be another possibility.
I could buy all the flavors I'm missing or buy a set of what actually works best. If anyone has already attempted it, it would save me time and money.
Thanks.
Edit - Is there a CAP Custard equivalent that doesnt take forever to steep?

In regards to the CAP Vanilla Custard question, yes, sort of but it depends on your personal preferences. INW Custard has the shortest steeping time, but you need to add vanilla to it. TFA Vanilla Custard II is very good. It's more than a couple day steeper, but it's less than CAP VC V1
I’m behind on paying attention because I’ve been so busy at work lately. What’s the latest on sourcing nic in the us and is it about to get bad and time to stock up now? Or am I too late already
This is a nic vapocalypse calculator
You will want PG nic 100mg/ml. In “What Strength of nicotine are you buying?“ put “100”

Just bought a smok nord and plan to mix juice because I can’t order it to nj. Previously used flair disposables. How would I mix something comparable to that nicotine level
Have you read any of the guides linked above? What nicotine strength were the Flairs?
They were 50MG but the Nord is stronger than they are
