Where do you guys buy bottles?
submitted about 4 years ago by Oddly_Augmented

Ive been using bull city flavors for my flavors and decided to look around the site and found that they sell Chubby Gorilla Bottles and I picked up a 100 of 30ml and 60ml bottles. They where the cheapest bottles I have found at .28¢ a piece for the 30ml and .34¢ for the 60ml and have yet to have any of them brake or leak. I was wondering if there are better places to buy bottles?

I used this Canadian company a few times and they sell chubby gorilla bottles pretty reasonably. They ship fast and I'm sure maybe if I searched I could find a supplier slightly cheaper, but they have been good to me so I keep buying from them.

Their prices are in Canadian dollars so it's actually a bit cheaper than what's listed if you're spending dollars.

60ml bottles came out to 57¢ USD for me, and 100ml bottles came out to 65¢ USD. I only bought a handful of them (less than 15) so I didn't get a bulk discount or soemthing.

You could try looking online at a pharmaceutical supplies company or vet supplies. Glass or plastic depending on your pref.

Why not just buy glass and food-grade sanitizer for cleaning them? My glass bottles have lasted me 7 years so far.

I get the convenience of plastic bottles, but you'll save money in the long run, and there will be 100 fewer plastic bottles sitting in a landfill.

Convenience, i tend to carry my bottles in a small backpack or my pocket and im afraid that they would brake and cause a mess or cut me. How ever i have thought of trying some out maybe next pay check.

Glass dropper bottles are usually thick as hell. It'd take a lot to break the ones I've got. Sitting on, or bumping them into something is definitely not going to break them. I toss them things around my work truck all day and they're more than fine. And it's only slightly more tedious filling up the AIO, or RTA. For the drippers, of course, it's inconsequential.

Cosmetic Shop!

But expensive (500- 1.200¥) for 60ml.

They never broke and are tight.

I never liked chubby gorilla bottles. I could only get a few refills before the bottle would start to fail. I now use various condiment bottles (food grade). I bought a pack of 12 about a year ago, and I have only used two so far (one for me and one for my wife). You can find all sorts of different sizes and types on amazon.

I use the 30ml ldpe off amazon, couple different 'brands' (likely same supplier). Runs around $9 for 30 bottles, around 30 cents a bottle. Around 56 cents for the 60ml version. Might not be something you'd enjoy, they're twist cap style, large mouth. Like the ones Wayne uses on diyordie vids. There might be cheaper out there, they work for me and it's convenient using amazon with prime. I'm also not buying massive bulk, reselling or anything else so don't need the tiny needle tip, child resistant pain in my ass caps or anything else.

I really don't bother with the 60ml so much, 30ml or 120ml. I'm not a fan of the chubby gorilla bottles. Harder to squeeze, more prone to cracking, dent with use, caps are a pain in the ass. Initially I was thrilled to see a juice company go to the pet bottles since they were less prone to absorbing flavors but that thrill was quickly gone with regular use.

I mainly use 120ml glass Boston bottles and decent into 60ml glass or 30ml gorilla if I'm going out for the night. I have various sizes in plastic bottles and get them all from fasttech. Slow but super cheap and I just order and forget.

I bought my amber colored glass bottles, unicorn bottles, and chubby bottles from Nic River back in 2019 and 2020 in sizes 30ml and 60ml. I bought 10ml and 15ml plastic bottles from to different sellers on Amazon last year.

Although not a huge Amazon fan, I've been buying really good bottles with fast Prime shipping from a seller there named 510 Central. I particularly like the 240 ml Boston round LDPE bottles they sell, they suit my needs perfectly and I haven't had a bad or leaky bottle yet.

I was shopping for plastic bottles the other day and just gave up. The prices have gotten stupid.

Instead, I ordered amber glass 120ml bottles with the droppers to reuse from now on.

Sanitizing them seemed pretty easy, I boiled them for about 10 minutes and then let them dry. The droppers can be tricky if you get the type where the rubber squeeze part cant be removed though.
