Citrus-free bubblegum?
submitted about 4 years ago by Wild-Manufacturer-64

Does anyone know if there are any bubblegum flavours that don't contain limonene?

I realise this is a difficult one because only TFA disclose full GCMS results.

It's one of those compounds I can tolerate in small amounts but there's too much of it in TFA Bubblegum so it makes my mouth tingle/sore and gives me a runny nose even at low percentages.

Bit of a PITA. 🤧

I've used TFA Bubblegum (Fruity), like a juicy fruit kinda gum, and found it to be extremely harsh myself with only TFA Pineapple edging it out for 'tastes right, super harsh to vape'. The one I found that has a similar juicy fruit kinda taste but wasn't harsh is MolinBerry American Bubble Gum - though no idea if the difference is actually down to limonene. Another alternative that isn't harsh is Super Concentrate/Flavor Express Bubble Gum, though it's more of a generic pink bubble gum like a bazooka joe.

I just had a look and the fruity version has 10x the limonene as the non-fruity one so that probably explains the harshness.

I'll try the Molinberry and FE versions thanks for that. I've never had a bazooka Joe but generic bubblegum is what I'm after so fingers crossed. 😁🤞

You could try SSA bubblegum.

SSA Bubblegum: Definitely tastes like bubblegum. More flavourful than a lot of other bubblegum flavours. Really bold. But a bit dry. ID10-T also got a little hint of a clove-ish tinge every few puffs. ID10-T tested at 2.75%

Thanks I'll look into it. Sounds like it could be used at a lower %

You could try to make your bubblegum on your own - old school with wintergreen and passion fruit.

FLV bubble gum is pretty spot on. As pink as Connors battle dress.

Maybe Lorann Bubblegum? The ingredients listed are: Propylene glycol, alcohol, artificial and natural flavors, water, red 40.

It has quite a bit of color, but Lorann also has colorless versions of their flavors. Maybe if you can find that?
