Happy Free Friday!
Today is the day I give someone free stuff from Gremberry Farms! All I ask is that you be the best person you can be.
The weekly winners are decided by a random winner picker that will randomize the comments and pick one, and the person that wrote the comment is the weeks winner.

I do need to also remind everyone that I need to make this a U.S. giveaway only, but that DOES include military APO's. :)
I try very hard every week to find something interesting to say to entertain y'all but at the same time I try very hard to NOT make this post a sales pitch. This week I might be getting a bit close to that, but only to make a fantastic announcement that I have been keeping quiet about for FAR too long.
Earlier this week Chefs Flavours in the U.K. put Gremlin Solo's on their site for people to purchase! So for all of you that have been left out for the past couple years, you can now get the same recipes that were once used to make Gremlin Juice. The Chef has quite a few of the flavors, and they are indeed the exact flavorings that I used in the E-Juice company of old, but now in DIY form so you can make Gremlin Juice at home. I do hope you support small business and drop in on the Chef and find some Gremlin Solo's to try.
OK, Back to what we are here for, and that is to give away some of those flavors to someone. I have not done a full check to see where this person is from so I hope they are somewhere I can ship to! I ran the giveaway-winner picker page and it gave me a name...
The name is...
u/apocalypticdiynewb
Congrats! And thank you for being a part of the community here. I'll be sending you a private message soon to arrange everything. All you need to do on your end though is make certain you have an account at GremberryFarms.com so I know where to send your stuff! :)

If you would like to have a chance to pick u a free box of Gremlin Solo's for your own, simply write something to this post. Answer the question, congratulate the winner, tell us about your dog... it doesn't matter what you write (as long as it follows the rules) and be the best person you can.
This weeks question is a simple one.
You vape, that's why you are here. And there is a high probability that you DIY, or you are looking to start soon, again, that's why you're here. I am wondering though,
When you see a post that someone wrote talking about the mod they are using and the coil they made and what the wattage and ohms and the type of wire used and ... do you join in the conversation and talk about what you've built and the power and such, or are you like me and just smile and nod not having an honest clue about what they are talking about?
Congratulations, u/apocalypticdiynewb!
In answer to the question... I usually just smile and nod because I have NO idea what they're talking about. And I'm okay with that. I'm working my way into learning about all of that, I'm just taking my time. 😅
Edit: as u/wheresandrew also said, don't count my answer. I also won a couple of weeks ago!
First of all, congrats to the winner! 😊 I’m not a builder. I’m a klutz and I don’t trust myself with electrical things. Hence I’m a smile-and-nodder among the building crowd. But I am interested in DIY’ing my own juice.
I think a lot of people are looking into DIY with the pact act looming for mail bans. I have my nic base already, plus enough coils and redundant pods systems to last me till at least my quit date 2 years from now. The flavors, bottles, and supplies can wait as those are used for MANY things and will still be able to be shipped.
Thank you. :) Totally agree about diy. Making my own juice is fun, gratifying, and much cheaper. Rebuildables have a learning process as well. Might be worth looking into since hardware is slowly getting harder to procure. There will always be wire and cotton available.
Congrats on getting your one-shots onto the Chef's website! I actually submitted a few reviews very recently on the Chef's site based off the one-shots I've been able to try thanks to your Free Friday package awhile back :) I highly suggest that anyone who's tried Gremberry one-shots go leave some honest reviews on the Chef's website + anywhere else Gremberry one-shots are sold; stuff like that really helps our buddy out + best of all, it's FREE to do! We all know how scary the vaping industry is becoming, so showing our support in free, easy ways really do make a huge difference to a small business like Gremberry.
thank you for all you do for this community + congrats again on the wonderful achievement!
I just smile and nod because I only started to quit smoking two years ago using a self contained pod system with prebuilt coils. I am sure others enjoy making a hobby out of it trying to get the best wraps, best cotton, best clouds and that's good for them. I just smile, nod, and puff away.
I’m probably worse than you. I forget what I’ve built and to this day have never just sat down and made a batch of coils so I don’t run into this problem over and over again. I just want my stuff to work and to work well. Thank the lord for the patience of a few friends who patiently answer my questions over and over. Hardware to me is a necessary evil.
Side question: I picked up some Gremberry Breakfast Blend (from bcf but chefs is great too) and it didn’t have a suggested percent on it. Do you have a recommendation or a suggested steep time?
On Chefs the recommendation is 15-20% (so far I’ve done it at 10%) 😉
When it comes to coils, wattage, and ohms I do join in whether just to discuss them or to guide a person new to rdas or rtas. I love rebuildables as much as I love diy ejuice.
As a side note to coil and wattage talk. I think all flavor reviews(which most do on this sub) and all posted recipes should include the hardware and wattage used when testing them because flavors come across very differently depending on our hardware. Even though flavor perception is vastly different from person to person, it makes a huge difference if a recipe is vaped on a simple round wire coil at 20w vs dual alien builds at 100w or somewhere in the middle. I feel there are so many mixed reviews or people being let down by a recipe simply because they don't know how it was developed. If we know how the developer or reviewer was vaping them, (flavor percentages, hardware, coil, and wattage) it would give us an idea on any percentage changes needed to be made to the recipe to suit our individual vaping styles. Just my 2cents.
Congratulations to u/apocalypticdiynewb 🎊🎉
My answer to your question is: I first like the question to bring it more attention then I sit back and read and learn.
I have been stocking up on flavors & gear per say for over a year & a half. I have also been taking notes and writing down recipes, including author & site so that I can comment and give them proper credit after I do start diy.
I'm going to answer your question with a question because I'm that guy.
How does one get that deep into the vaping industry, as you seem to be, without having a working knowledge of building up a deck, or ohm's law, and all that? I was only vaping for maybe 6-8 months before rda curiosity got the better of me and I started building. Never went back.
I'm genuinely curious how one tests their recipes in a tank with a commercial coil. You must go through a lot of them.
Heavy lurker! There’s a lot of information to be absorbed especially if you’re new. Builds are cool to look at but I generally stick to my own thing. I did wind up buying some custom coils (SFQs) for the first time after seeing a lot of hype on Reddit though. Saved me a ton of frustration and they’re pretty 🤘.
