That looks like it would be easier to find flavors, good idea.

I have a whole cabinet in the kitchen, my wife complains that it spills over. My mixing station is my kitchen island.

Gosh, that looks so nicely organized! My "mixing station" is the top shelf in an out of the way kitchen cabinet. I keep my big pg/vg bottles in there, I refill picnic ketchup/mayo bottles to make it easy to pour, my scale, notebook with recipes, a small box with about 20 mini bottles of flavor, and a small bottle of nicotine.

I keep a bigger bottle of nicotine in my freezer that I only open to refill the small one, and the rest of my supply is in the basement. I also have about 20 more empty bottles I keep in a lower cabinet, cause I keep swearing I'll make a big batch to steep, but I keep making shake and go bottles on the fly cause Im lazy.

not much to it. i keep everything but my pg/vg in my beer fridge. when i need to mix more, i grab what flavors, the nic, the pg/vg, and a couple graduated cylinders. then i mix it. nothing fancy.

I was wondering about flavors in the fridge. Someone told me it degrades the flavors. Is it true?

No. But it isn’t necessary. Constant temperature changes from cold to warm can encourage condensation that turns into water in your flavors which you don’t want.

I use a large tackle box for my flavoring. I keep this & VG/PG in a kitchen cabinet. Nic goes in the freezer. Then clear the dinning room table and start mixing.

That's pretty handy, you can hit the road and mix if you wanted to.

It's so nice, it's a shame you couldn't keep it like that. You know my cat doesn't need his bedroom, I have space for it haha. If you dont mind me asking, what happened to your equipment?

My mixing/building station https://imgur.com/a/QDo16YB

You can't see in the photo but I have a chest freezer to the left for my nic. And all the empty chubby gorilla's are in that plastic dresser to the right arranged in size( 30 ml in top drawer, 60ml in middle, 100ml in the bottom drawer)

Thanks man.. Pretty simple to do. But did you see how I have my flavor concentrates set up?

1 points

by wobluemoonabout 4 years agoMissing One Flavor

I did, it has it's own designated shelf which means no cluttering issues. Its s good table for building, lots of storage. Did you build it yourself? I'm starting to have a cluttering problem myself. Might need to build a floor to ceiling shelves to eliminate the problem long term. I'm thinking of using a pressure bar to keep it in place were it wouldn't be very wide.

I dare not. My mixing station is just a shelf, and my setup station is... well...

My bed.

here’s my mixing station

I’m not a fan of dust. Yet I know I won’t dust all these tiny bottles lol so I try to keep em covered. Works well except the top of the one shelf. Not too much work to clean tho.
This set up houses about 550 concentrates, the ones I use most often and then I have a large file box under the desk for bottles over 120 ml as well as a bunch I don’t use often.

Also OP, I’m going to school to be a nurse- second career for me. (saw u r one on your profile; cool!)

Wow that's a big collection, you must have bought them over time.

I have advice for you for when you start working on the floor. If you must know anything, know your back in form. It's so easy to blow your shoulders especially on resistive patients. Dont be afraid to ask for help, some facilities allow you use non nursing staff with a lift. Know your exits before you walk in a room, patients can be unpredictable. It's ok to walk away from agression, you are not a punching bag and you can always come back later. Theres less paperwork in long term care then the hospital. Always eat before work, you'll have less nausea in the day.

I don't have a station but I can send a pic of what it looks like when I get set up to make flavors. I did just get a nail polish rack off Amazon that will hold 72 30 to 60ml size flavor bottles. I assembled it and tested it. I have a tackle box with misc flavors and I have a six drawer rolling bin with flavors sorted by company and have a mini freezer in the corner of the living room with a padlock on it that has all the nicotine.

Sounds good man. Hey how many flavors do you think you have?

Close to 300. Have an order showing up Monday with a few more. I don't have many tobacco flavors other than RY4 and Soho. Eventually I'd like to expand into that. I'll take a pic of my stash when I get up. Was at work all night.

I have 30-ish tobaccos and finally got Soho last week. I think I've been avoiding it because it's a weak flavor. But that Soho Time recipe finally motivated me, can't wait to try that stuff out.

The sniff/knuckle test also got me thinking it could be useful in a chocolate malt/wendy's frosty flavor. Not too many malt flavours out there but I did pick up some TFA Malted Milk.

Mine’s just my kitchen sink and a couple boxes of flavors.
