Affordable one-stop flavor sources that ship to Greece?
submitted about 4 years ago by ducklord

Hello fine folks of DIY eJuice!

A lot has changed since I last ordered some flavors, and some of the vendors from where I last shopped don't even exist anymore. The last one, from somewhere in Poland, now only carry their own flavors.

I know, I know, I should check the sidebar, and especially the vendor list.

I did.

I can't order from any of them.

You see, I live in Greece. I can buy flavors (but not nic) from other shops in the EU, but the vendor list - at least, if I didn't miss something - only contains vendors from the USA, UK, Canada, and some from Australia.

So...

Any similar sources within the EU, that would ship to Greece without the packages getting stuck at Customs, which would slap exorbitant fees for their import?

I'm especially interested in shops that carry Flavor Art, TPA, Inawera, and Atmos Lab flavors, but also wanted to check out many of the "suggested flavors" I'd never tried before (like the ultra-popular Cactus or Mango ones) from other companies.

Where are you, fellow Europeans, getting your flavors from? I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

NomNomz is in Northern Ireland, my understanding is that they are considered "in the EU" for import duty / customs purposes.

Lots of folks also order from Chef's because of the wider selection and just deal with the fees.

To add a comment to this.

Tes is 100% correct abount Nomz. They are still within the EU agreement.

Concerning Chefs, then they compensate for EU customers and lower their prices even further at checkout. In most cases, when I order from Chefs, it’s still cheaper with customs, than if I ordered locally. That’s thanks to the compensation.

But Nomz is still a very viable source fro EU customers.

Thanks for the useful assist, but as I've already asked TeslaDelMar... What's "Chef's"? Are we talking about That Online Store Known As Chef's Flavours, in UK?

Thanks, this looks awesome! I didn't know about NomNomz!

What's "Chef's", though? Not that I could order from there if it comes with import fees - which, in Greece, whenever I had to pay Customs, they ended up costing me from +(1/3) to +50% of the package's actual cost :-(

There is a cap (i think its 22€) where you dont have to pay customs.but honestly, order from nomnomz.the only downside would be the expensive shipping (around 20€ if i remember correctly),but if you manage to make big bulk orders over 100€ they ship "for free".am also Greek and have ordered twice since Brexit without any problem at all.also check out flavorah dot gr and zerobacco dot gr for local purchases

Yeah, there's a cap indeed, but after seven years of ordering "like that" from China, I'm tired of trying to juggle big orders into "smaller chunks" to avoid having to pay Customs. It's what I've been doing with the popular in our circle FT, 2F and 3F stores, for atomizers, for the arround-six-years I've been vaping :-|

I probably will reach the "over €100" point, that's why I'm trying to avoid having to pay Customs. If I was looking into a 20-30 Euro order, I'd bite and pay the 5, 10, or even 15 Euros of tax slapped on it - I've already done so for other... things (like electronic parts). Since now I'm looking to order around 40-50 flavors, I'll probably have to pay up to €100-€150. If such a package gets stuck at Customs, the final price will end up closer to the €200-250 mark :-(

Thanks for the other suggestions, noted - although I haven't yet looked at them.

Do you have any source for cheap Nic as well? I have enough in my fridge - I'd ordered some high-nic bottles from Pink Mule back when it was allowed. Thing is, this "back when it was allowed" means that it's been over 2-3 years now, and Nic does get oxidized. Even when in the fridge :-(

I am buying Big Boss juices here in Turkey. They are made in Bulgaria. Very nice, maybe they'll ship to Greece.

Hello neighbor!

You mean you're buying directly from their site and they ship to you, or your personal experience is from buying them locally?

Also, if you haven't, check out Atmos Lab - it's a Greek flavor company with some amazing flavors. Their plain Vanilla is much better than any type of Vanilla I've checked from TPA/INW/FA.

I am buying from their Turkish distributor's website, Big Boss Likit. I receive the order within 2 or 3 days.

I will look at Atmos labs, for sure!

Really-really thanks for that! Noted and I'll soon add it to my bookmarks - I've just created a "new suggested vapeshops" folder in FireFox to collect all the great suggestions in this thread!

Since, as you said, they carry their own flavors, with which I'll surely not be familiar (I've only tried ones from the companies I mentioned in my OP - Atmos, INW, TPA, and FA)...

...any suggestions on what to try? I'm more into sweet flavors, if that matters. What are your favorites from them?

On a totally irrelevant note... how's the vaping situation in Turkey?

I'm starting to think a gerneral Vape stuff darknet-shop could be feasible when i read about all the problems people experience with regulations

It wouldn't work.

The problem's not in ordering stuff. The problem's in getting the stuff you've ordered. And for that, you'd also need...

...drumroll please...

DARKNET-CUSTOMS

...

Maybe also a darknet-package-delivery-service. "We bring EVERYTHING to you, no questions asked, wink-wink, nudge-nudge."

  • Dude: "Whoa, my illegally-imported Nic, mushrooms, and money-printer are finally h... ARGH! A... HEAD! A... SEVERED... HEAD! AAAAAAARGH!"
  • Delivery Girl: "Ah, er..."
  • Dude: "AAAAAARGH!"
  • Delivery Girl: "...wrong package?"

I just ordered from Chefs within the EU, first time since Brexit. I ended up paying around 25 EUR in fees for a 50 EUR order... I would hate to shop somewhere else, but I am actually looking for a replacement now as well.

Are the fees calculated at checkout?

1 points

by ece_guyabout 4 years ago

No, I paid about 9 EUR in banking fees, as I paid with a bank transfer. And 16.5 EUR in customs at the post office.

Hmm. Not overly familiar with the details of brexit. I had a similar issue but with ordering from bull city. Last order I paid 26$ shipping for a 28$ order that I even had to reduce it cuz they started restricting anything above 90 mls to fedex shipping which is super expensive to canada. (Why I have no idea. I asked but wasn’t answered) Shipping costs have gone up so much from US to can (tho other places I shop from are still shipping cheaper than BCF) and yet I ordered (220$) 570 mls from chefs and the shipping was only 20$. No import fees or anything. It saddens me to have to stop shopping from BCF too but it’s just too expensive. Some of these places are just getting crazy to order from. It sux.
