####Q: How do flavors get put on the schedule?
####A: Requests and suggestions from people like YOU!
If there's something you'd like to see, just post a request in this thread. You can request both a specific flavor profile and where it lands on the calendar.
I've got 11 of these flavors. Five of them are new to me: VSO Blood Orange, OoO Blood Orange, RFSC Blood Orange, Silver Cloud Estates Blood Orange, and INW Bloody Orange. I've tried these before:
SA Brazilian Blood Orange Some kind of orange but not a blood orange at all.Doesn’t have an off note, it basically IS an off note. It’s very zesty, with a little bitter like a pith note. It’s more tart, almost lemony, and brighter than a basic orange. Which is exactly in the opposite direction from a basic orange than that deeper, more earthy blood orange. Top heavy and very thin. Dry, not at all juicy. Might do for tangerine or mandarin zest, but not the actual fruit.
TFA Blood Orange You know those orange-flavored Sunkist Vitamin C tablets. This tastes like if that came in Blood Orange flavor. Even down to the chalky but sweet Pez-candy like body. It really tastes remarkably like those tablets, especially right on top and in the chalky-sweet finish, but there’s a little bit of earthy depth right in the middle and lingering in the aftertaste that brands it as a blood orange as opposed to a regular orange flavor.
VT Blood Orange Champagne Basically they ruined an amazing Champagne flavor by adding fake Blood Orange flavor to it, except “ruined” seems like way too harsh a word because I actually love it, it’s just a bit odd. It’s a super accurate champagne flavor that tastes like it has blood orange flavoring added to it, rather than actual orange juice or blood orange juice. Specifically and clearly blood orange and not just regular orange, but tastes like artificial blood orange flavor. It’s sweet and bubbly and really tastes like champagne, a light and sugary champagne like Spumante rather than Brut or Dry. I wish that champagne flavor was sold separately because why would you add an artificial blood orange flavor to that? I really like mixing this one with FLV Morning Mimosa, mostly because the zesty and funky aspects of the orange in Morning Mimosa and the candy, fake aspects of VT Blood Orange Champagne seem to have a way of correcting each other’s deficiencies.
FA Blood Orange - Solid option for a tasty natural not candy but plenty sweet blood orange type citrus, but I feel like I’m getting something between a blood orange and a tangerine that actually leans a little closer to tangerine than blood orange. Mild hint of zest on top and lingering, medium body/base that can pass for fruit flesh, not really juicy, maybe juicy for FA in general but not juicy juicy. Mild throat hit for a citrus, so moderate for other flavors if we're going none, mild, moderate, severe.
FW Blood Orange - An orange flavor with enough dark and earthy notes to make it a blood orange. A nice natural, non-candied flavor. Personally prefer FLV’s version AS A BLOOD ORANGE, but this FW's seems more versatile as it could pass for naval orange in a mix depending on what else is in there, or as part of a tangerine or mandarin layer. Also, I also get a pretty strong kick in the throat from it, as well as enough pithy bitterness to be worth noting.
FLV Blood Orange - Natural blood orange with that earthy body and deep red sweetness that really exemplifies the difference between a blood orange and a navel orange, mandarin, or tangerine. Not candy. Fleshy body, not waxy, but a little rindy and not juicy. Seems fine for other settings (I've even had a tobacco recipe where it was great), for all-fruit fruit mixes I think you need to mix with juicier fruits to avoid it coming across too dry.
I've got these five recipes mixed up to try this week, too:
Cran Orange Muffin by /u/mlnikon
321 B.O.C by Rude Rudi
Citrus Filled Licorice Rod by /u/kittybit8
1-2-3 Coco Sang! By NikosD
Bloody Ginger Reeta by Zander
Really looking forward to these!
I’m especially looking forward to trying the Sang Petillant one-shot of blood orange champagne after reading your notes on VT Blood Orange Champagne.
What % is that recommended at?
The one-shot or the VT flavor?
Edit: I don't remember the one-shot %, for VT Blood Orange Champagne around 6 to 7% as single flavor, as low as 2 to 3% in a mix, depending on what you're doing with it.
FA Blood Orange and FW Blood Orange are fire. Sometimes I’ll throw in CAP Sweet Tangerine.
I found a blood orange champagne one-shot from Sang Petillant that I’m excited to try.
I don’t have any blood orange flavors, though. What else would you recommend pairing with CAP Sweet tangerine?
Peaches
FA and FW are both really good Blood Orange flavors. I really like mixing them with some Mango and Guava as well.
Blood orange and mango is a helluva combo in my book, yum!
I have a recipe I came up with about a year ago that works pretty well using FW Blood Orange, FLV Mango and FA Indian Special. It's definitely not perfect, but I like it

Someone that is helping out /u/ID10-T - and that's a good thing!
i legitimately hated orange vapes until i tried fw blood orange, now i want to mix every recipe i see it in. i love using it as an accent too, .5-1% can really add a sort of sticky sweetness to a funkier tropical-type fruit like wf passionfruit. really want to get that VT champagne and mess with it, too
I’ve always used FW Blood Orange as a „normal“ orange in my mixes, which seems to work fine. I also have FLV Blood Orange and only used it in viva la Cola so far but I also wanna try the Bloody Hefeweizen by Joe_Roots that also uses it. I should probably sft it tho! Looking forward to the noted episode, especially interested in the inw one 🤔
This is another great one that uses it: Bloody Mango Sorbet.
Made this for my Mom. It's essentially Developed's Blood Orange Sherbet sans Cream and sweetener with the Fizz cranked up. Quite good!
Fruit vapes aren't really my thing but I absolutely love blood orange in vapes. I own/ love FW Blood Orange, FA Blood Orange + VT Blood Orange Champagne (100% agree w id10t + wish VT made this into 2 separate flavors ugh). super excited for this week's Noted episode + guest!
Luxurious Lemonade (FLV) eJuice Recipe by Laura

uses FLV Blood Orange
I tried this recipe without FLV Soursop and liked it.
Nice MTL pod recipe I tried recently I substituted Passion with Cap Grapefruit, still tastes good. I think the Sweet Guava does all the heavy lifting here.
I've really been trying to ramp into more blood orange recipes lately due to the recent discovery of how much my girlfriend enjoys it. And recommendations for a "not too sweet, not too dry" fruit mix?
I might have more for you this time next week but for now, I'd say see how she likes Fear's Bloody Mango Sorbet: https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/55649#bloody_mango_sorbet_by_fear
For some reason this is making me crave an orange julius. Anyone know of any good recipes for one?
Can we do a cinnamon week!?
Sure! We can do cinnamon bakery (or break that down even further and have it be cinnamon Danish, cinnamon strudel, cinnamon roll, cinnamon cookie, cinnamon cereal, or churro), or apple cinnamon, or cinnamon candy, or just plain cinnamon spice? Any of those particularly of interest to you?
This week blood orange, and i have exactly one blood orange lol
A great recipe, although not "blood orange" forward.
