Favorite recipe websites?
submitted over 4 years ago by deurotelle

I'm just restarting vaping again after a couple of years layoff & have lost most of my old recipes. I don't like many pre-made vape juices and they are expensive to try out and not like.

I prefer to make my own and have a pretty good setup for it, although I suspect most of my flavorings will be too old to use. I'd like to replace them (If I MUST- I have over 400) and scale it back with a few dozen flavors. I think my nic is still good having been stored in the freezer.

What is your go-to recipe or best recipe website? Does anyone know if the flavors have been stored at room temp away from light, is there any chance they are still usable?

TIA

ATF or ELR

ATF & ELR! Can't blame me for forgetting the names, but I'm plugged back in now. I'll also keep my eyes peeled on this subreddit, as I see many people post their own new recipes here. I hope to be posting my originals here soon once I get back into the swing of it, but needed tried & true recipes to start me off.

Thank you!

ELR is my favorite recipe sight atf is good to though. Your flavors should be fine to use I have flavor concentrates that old and I still use them.

Just curious as I am new myself.. what makes you like ELR over ATF? I'm not sure what one has to offer that the other doesn't (besides recipes)

To me it's just set up to use and post your recipes easier you dont have to have a description or anything if you dont want. But the thing I like most is you can select any flavor and find multiple mixers notes on that flavor. This is extremely helpful for new mixers and finding a good starting percentage for a new flavor. You can also have a dialogue with other mixers just by commenting on there recipe. They both have their pros and cons I still use atf to try recipes but only post on elr.

That's good to know. I have over 400 flavorings and hate like hell to have to buy them all over again. Thank Kew

Hi. They are basically linked to the sidebar under „eJuice calculators“. ATF and ELR are primaries and most used databases. Welcome back! Flavors don’t really go bad, they usually get weaker at most, so try them out. VG and PG you‘d have to test by making an unflavored sample batch, but if they were stored in a dark and cool place, they should be fine.

OK thanks- Sadly, my scale just took a dump & will have to wait another week to get going. Thanks-
