ALL Purilum & ALL Wonder Flavours recipes
submitted over 4 years ago by Geekers_Machine

Hello! I never post here but hoping this is okay to ask. Does anyone have any recipes that have all WF or all Purilum flavors? Actually WF with PUR recipes would work too! I have a big stock of each brand, but having a hard time finding recipes to mix with these two brands. TYIA!!

Hi. It’s going to be tough finding them. A few, sure, but not many. In general, it doesn’t make sense to stick to the flavors of one, or in your case, two manufacturers. The problem with that is that each flavor company has a handful of great flavors as well as a handful of terrible flavors, the rest being mediocre. If you‘ve ever watch Noted on YT, you‘ll know what I mean. If not, I highly recommend it.

In any case, that’s the reason behind using so many various flavor manufacturers in crafting a recipe. If you‘re adamant on using only what you have, I‘d suggest researching those (YT Noted, Reddit flavor reviews) and testing each as a single flavor. You can look up flavor averages on ATF, get inspired and create some new recipes. Good luck!

Go on all the flavors.com and search for #DevelopedWF. Developed is a YouTube podcast where experienced mixers make recipes and rate other people’s recipes and they had an assignment to use all WF. A lot of people submitted entries and you can watch the episode to see which ones were the best in their opinion.

Go to ATF and/or ELR and create an account. Then enter only WF and PUR flavors to your stash. After that, click the "What can I make?" button.

I did this, I was shocked to see near to nothing i could make.. Its all good it was all on sale, i panic bought Purilum and then bought WF for good measure. On ELR there was a few recipes i could make if i did the 1 or 2 flavors missing thing, so maybe ill work off that. Thanks for the reply!

I am super sad that there is no more Nic River. I only have like half the Purilum I wanted.

I do not I have recipes that are like half Purilum saved but that’s about it. There’s always at LEAST 1-2 CAP/TFA mixed in.

Me too! I panic bought pretty much one of every flavor of Purilum since i didnt know where else i could buy it. And then went ahead and panic bought WF for the heck of it! I knew that id most likely not be able to use all of the flavors i bought, but it was way worse then i was expecting, only one single recipe i can "what can i make" with all the new flavors i got. Ill have to start single flavor testing to start. Im pretty bad at coming up with my own recipes so i only try it once inna while.

i love every single purilum flavor i’ve tried. but unfortunately i missed the email from nic river, by the time i saw it on here, they had almost nothing left and so i still only have about 10 of their flavors. fortunately, i did a lot of research before buying those 10, so they’re probably the best 10 i could have chose.

I've made this WF recipe a few times, pretty good. Needs a 2 week steep minimum. https://www.wonderflavours.com/products/custard-pastry-recipe

Wow. I'd of never of thought to go to WF's website for recipes. Appreciate that link. I have a lot of flavors from multiple companies but I took advantage of a WF sale right as I got started in DIY and went a bit overboard.

That looks so good but I don’t have a single one of those flavors. Ah well, I already needed to order some baccos tomorrow…

You could also try posting in the weekly pinned thread “what can I make”. Post your list of flavors, ppl in there usually come up with some pretty good ideas. In future, it’s always best to make order lists based on recipes you wanna make so you’re not limiting yourself.

What you said! Buy for the recipe in 10 ml bottles. FYI, if you make a good enough order Bull City will supply a sample or two on request in the checkout notes. They are hands down the best vendor out there.

They are great. I’m sad that their shipping is so much to canada now. My last order a month ago would only allow me to order 90 mls total before bumping me to pay 50$ fedex shipping. Why I have no idea. Others vendors I haven’t had the same issue. And even for the 90 mls I got, still cost me 26$ shipping which was as much as my order cost. So I’ll be sticking to chefs for now and maybe doing one a year to bcf for stuff I can’t get elsewhere. Sad face.
