I live near a few places like Bull City Vapes etc, and I am just curious if I would actually be able to still purchase it directly from them in person. I cannot see any harm in me going in person to buy nicotine if I am of age.
Bull City don't sell nicotine. They've removed the option for in-person pickup too since their new location.
Unfortunately, you're right about nicotine. You can still do local pickups however if you use our zip code (27560) in the shipping address you should be offered a local pickup option.
Call and ask. The owner (bcv) is a nice guy and they can tell you their policy regarding walk ins. Although anyone on staff would be able to answer that one.
Seeing as is the only people that can buy nicotine right now are businesses with tobacco retailer/retailers licenses i would say ask a vape shop/smoke shop you are friendly with that if they can place a nicotine order for you . You might have some luck that way
I'm not sure that's accurate. The ban, which has been put on hold by USPS, was shipping related only. Again, I believe that is the current situation.
I just ordered nicotine from river for a family friend using my tobacco retailers license for ny state had to register with the atf as well but now if someone walks in my convenience store (which i highly doubt) and wants to buy freebase or nicotine salts i can order it for them. Hopefully there will be a B2B exemption with usps
It depends on how a given store gets shipments.
From my understanding it's a shipping ban for the US Postal service.
Self imposed limitation for FedEX and UPS.
A lot of stores and businesses(in general) don't use either of these for general stock, they use bigger trucking companies or merchandise distributors, which may or not have internal policy. In other words, they buy in bulk, so they're using different types of shippers. USPS, UPS, and FedEx are generally for smaller/faster packages where dozens of people are shipping stuff on the infrastructure of that company(Think of it as crowdsharing, like a city bus, the bus runs with a bunch of random strangers).
It'll come down to what each individual store does because they're not great big chain enterprises like McDonalds, they're "Ma n Pa" small businesses where there is no uniformity. Some shops with a small selection might use UPS, a larger store with huge stock may use a business level shipping contract company.
Best bet is to visit or call each in your area and ask them directly.
Some. Something I found locally was that my local store sold 50mg nic salts mixed in house. While they don't advertise this a lot and it's really not allowed. I asked them for unflavored and they were glad to mix it up for me. I then used the 50 mg selts as my nic base.
It's worth a try at least, I don't know of anywhere that explicitly bans nicotine sales. I do know that most of the nicotine suppliers that are still running are doing commercial sales only, so shops have an easier time getting it than we do. And for the few still doing consumer sales, it won't last long and prices are higher than they used to be.
There is still a few places you can still order from and USPS will deliver with adult signature. Shipping does cost more. Central vapors Vaping zone Carolina Xtraction Zenithe cig There are a few pharmaceutical and synthetic, but you can't say it's for vaping, but for patches or gum. I find it best to get to know your local shop and see if they will supply it. The cheap days are over for now, until more law suits happen.
Maybe once things like weed get legalized, they will start repairing the hatred on ecigs. One day we'll be free of this crapola and get back to business. Btw, if you haven't tried the Red Tobacco flavor from Vaping Zone, if I remember correctly it was delicious the first time I tried it. Pretty smooth and tasty.
