Hi everyone! Welcome to Free Friday!! The day that someone gets to win some free stuff from Gremlin (That's Me!) :)
I used to mention to all that this is not a contest or a drawing, but times have changed, and so far the new format has been fun. It is still not officially a contest or a drawing really, but the winner is simply picked at random from the previous weeks post. This means that by commenting here for this weeks post, you are entered for a chance at winning next week! (And so on, and so on)
Last week had the question of favorite brands and there are a lot of really good ones, including TFA, Capella, Flavor West, Wonder Flavors, FlavourArt (I could go on, but we all know the best flavors out there)
Doing a quick random sort and a spin of the mouse gave up this weeks Free Friday recipient.
Congrats to...

Be sure to head over to GremberryFarms.com and create an account so I can send you a nice box o' goodies, (and don't forget to let me know in private here what your name is so I can make sure I'm sending to the right person)
THIS weeks question could be interesting to see what you think. White Whales.
Simply put, what flavor are you looking for that you haven't found yet but are still looking for.
For me it is absolutely a candy bar style milk chocolate. Not a tootsie roll, or a chocolate mint, but just a nice creamy Hershey's flavor milk chocolate. I look forward to the day that I can get my hands on that one.
What is yours? Not a clone of a recipe from something you had once, or a recipe that you are looking for to make something, but a certain flavor that you love that you would LOVE to find in a flavoring but just haven't found the right one yet.
Strawberry Rhubarb Pie, Blueberry Pop Tart, Peanut Butter, ???
Peanut Butter or coffee for me; haven't quite found it yet.
A good mulled wine. German flavors had one which I didn't think I'd like but turns out I love it. Now I can't get the flavoring anymore so I'm working on making something up.
And pumpkin spice/coffee. I haven't liked any I tried.
Root beer used to be one but I did some research last week and I made up one that I'm trying right now and it seems pretty good so far.
Fitz’s. Sub the vanilla
I've heard good things about FLV root beer. I've been working with FW and TFA's root beers (since I already have them) and added half a percent of Wintergreen (along with some creams for a 'float'). So far I like what I made (but it's only been one day). A hint of vanilla is a good idea, maybe I'll add some.
Why would I sub the vanilla?
Because unless you have the original Holy Vanilla you won’t be able to get it unless you know someone as it’s been discontinued for quite some time. Don’t sub with the v.2. Best options IMO is TFA Vanillla Swirl 2% , INW Shisha Vanilla 1%, or WF Vanilla Cream Extra SC 1.5% and like 0.75% LA Cream Cheese Icing. I personally haven’t tried this but a guy I know says CAP Vanilla Custard 0.5 - 0.7% + TPA French Vanilla Cream 1 - 1.2% is a good HV sub. Whatever Wingergreen you’re using just get rid of that, those notes are in FLV Rootbeer already

I'll add a few pumpkins later.
Hmm, looks interesting, especially the grape juice instead of wine. I actually have all the flavors so I'll give it a shot and let you know how it turns out. Thank you.
Edited to add - Ugh, I thought I had everything but I actually had TFA grape CANDY instead of TFA grape. For now, I tried using FW grape. Wish me luck!!
Edited to add (3 days later) - FW grape is definitely not right for this. It smells and tastes like bubble gum. It's not 'bad', just not what I was looking for. Will re-try when I get TFA grape.
I’ve tested most of the Pumpkin Spice flavors. FLV Pumpkin Spice came up at #1, with OSDIY Pumpkin Spice Cream at #2. Apologies if you’ve already tried ‘em.
