I would love to get you guys thoughts on this recipie. I consider it my first, successful, original recipe. Been mixing for a couple months.

The only one I haven't got is huckleberry. If I had it I would mix it. All else looks good. Waiting on a cactus refill as well

I looooove the cactus. That moisture, to me, is a must have.

Yep. Definitely. It mixes well with grape flavors.

I felt the same way when I first started lol. I think I developed an intolerance to it tho :/
FA pear is another good one for moisture that doesn’t have much distinct taste. Also most citrus. It’s the acidic pinch that causes saliva glands to fire up.

im missing the huckleberry otherwise i'd mix it and give it a whirl. i can say looking at it that:

- 1% cactus is generally too much for me without something massively hefty to balance it. 0.5 is my upper reaches with it.

- TPA rasp sweet i dont really like (despite owning 1oz of it, thank you first order).

-TPA Dragonfruit is an emulsifier and maybe can bring all that stuff together and maybe tamp it down a little. I never use cap SS and here it probably mutes the other stuff as well.

If i were to take a stab at this, it might look something like this:

inw rasp 1

fa forest fruit 4

fa pom 2

inw cac 0.25

and just leave it at that or add LA Lemonade at 4% and be happy. those are my tastes :)

I found some food flavors ( fruit aroma ...) in my local pastry supply store, can I use that to create some e juice?

Not safely, no. There's a reason we use the flavors that we use.

As long as it is PG based, you should be fine. If it's oil based, absolutely not!! Most of the flavors we use were originally created for food and drink use, to begin with.

Does anyone know if Cloud Alchemist has posted their recipes anywhere since they've gone defunct?

i dont know, but you can search atf or elr with the names of the juices and see. if not you can use the monthly clone request thread to ask for help or join the discord and comment in the cloning channel. Also, you can try your hand at a remixx and likely make something 100x better with just a little nudge in the right direction.

Could anyone recommend me a list of concentrated flavors to order being on a tight budget? I have no preference on flavoring, honestly I just want to order as efficiently as possible, without spending too much money. My only thing is I don’t like menthol based flavors, but don’t mind if it has a little touch of menthol, just not entirely based on that Mint flavor.

Otherwise, I’m open to any/all types of flavors/mixes.

Please help me out

find recipes on ATF or this sub

Definitely take a read over this. It’s in the FAQ reading for newcomers along with lots of other golden info. People can’t tell you what to order, only point you in the right direction to choose for yourself. :) Far as budget, you can’t go wrong with TFA. Even FW. Probs the cheapest out there and most widely avail. That being said keep in mind they’re definitely not the strongest so you do go through em a bit faster than some of the stronger flavour companies like FLV. They have some great and some awful ones. So just take a look a flavour reviews first.

Look up some recipes on ATF and order what you need to make em. Get 10 ml bottles only till you know if you like or not.

Edit: I will also mention if you’re looking for popular ones that are used allot, go on ATF, click on flavors -> top flavors. Pretty solid choices.

Is there a "catch all" site where I can buy PG,VG, and Nic in bulk? With the mail ban coming up I'd like to order enough ingredients to make my own juice for the next 5 years but I'm a little intimidated and have no one local that can walk me thew how to do it.

At this point it's actually past the mail ban, however Carolina Xtracts is still shipping nicotine.

I haven't looked at their pg/vg pricing, but if it's anything like their nic prices I would order the PG/VG from another vendor.

Any websites you could recommend for the PG and VG? Also which one of the listing on Carolina Xtracts is the proper one for making juice? And does the nic in the PG or VG base matter?

I prefer PG as I think it's easier to mix and pour, but if you're looking for high nic percentages with a lot of flavoring, and high VG It'll make PG nic harder to use.

In looking at their site I'm not seeing plain VG or PG anyways, but it's the supercritical PG & VG, or the supercritical salts if you're looking at salts.

I bought my PG and VG at Liquid Barn, but that's because I purchased my nic from there when they still sold it. If you're looking to cut down on the number of places you're ordering from Bull City Flavors sells the PG and VG, and has one of the better selections of flavors you'll find.

Not sure if they have bulk nic tho.

Can we add a link to the April recipe thread? I had trouble finding it today.

And I'm looking for a Campfire Smoke, Forrest Fire, or Gunpowder flavor. Any suggestions?

FA Black Fire is ruled out because it's a BBQ Smoke flavor.

SC/FE Black Fire....I haven't vaped it yet but I'm getting the chocolate note common to many SC tobaccos. DNB didn't work out.

Hello, what is expected shelf life of flavors? Stored at drawer in room temperature.

Depends on the flavors. Some fade quicker than others. They will last a few years, regardless.

I made an preset from TFA and got something’s by accident, totally my fault, does anyone know if I have a chance of being able to return them and how to go about it? If not I’ll just accept the loss but in my pre-juice ban panic I just ordered way too much that I don’t heavily use anymore. Thanks.

I suspect my VG or PG is fucking up my mix. There's a bit of metallic taste and my juice gunks up the coil! I have never had this happened to me. On this mix I use FA Kiwi, TPA Toasted Marshmallow, TPA Kentucky Bourbon.

I mean, 5 hits and it tastes like shit afterwards and black goo everywhere. On this mix this time I notice a lot of bubbling/foams. I never had this before.

I definitely didn't use any Sweetener. Could this be my VG/PG? Or is it one of my flavors? I doubt it's the flavors because I've bought maybe 10 or 15 flavors from this supplier before and they all have been stellar.

But I never heard VG or PG gunking up coils....

This is a new VG & PG from a new supplier. Should I try order new VP & PG from my previous supplier?
