####Q: How do flavors get put on the schedule?
####A: Requests and suggestions from people like YOU!
If there's something you'd like to see, just post a request in this thread. You can request both a specific flavor profile and where it lands on the calendar.
I just finished this. It was pretty awesome. It’s supposed to be a Lava Flow clone-ish clone by Naked, even though I never had the OG I like how it turned out.
Co. | Flavor | %
---|---|----
FA | Coconut (Coco, Cocco) | 2
TFA | Strawberry (Ripe) | 2.25
TFA | Strawberry | 2.25
VT | Sugarloaf Pineapple | 2.25
FLV | Sweet Coconut | 3
These are the only two coconuts I feel I’ll ever need.
i've had problems with coconut before, chronicled here: My Experience with Coconut. I've since never gone back to them. This week i'll be adding several new flavors to the list. Either way, my favorite coconut recipe is still coco-bacco y u/Foment_life. If i ever get around to writing my list of 'must try' baccos this would be at the top of the list. I recommend you mix it up for this week u/ID10-T.
Thanks doggo!
I'm actually vaping that right now.
I'm totally new to diy, coco bacco is the third recipe i mixed. It definitely gets better with a steep as it is a tobacco juice. Didn't think I would like it as it's sweet but it's delicious. Eventually I know I'll branch out of tobacco juices as I have been trying coconut, pear and apricot in alot of my tobacco juices.
I'm glad you like it!
There's a ton of stuff you can do as you branch out. Nuts, bakeries, and creams might be the most natural transition from tobaccos specifically but there's a wealth of stuff you can play with as you explore what you enjoy.
FLV Sweet Coconut
I have nothing more to say ..
I'll have 43 more things to say this time next week. But yeah that is one of the good, probably even the best one. Is it the best one for every coconutty situation, though?
No.
VTA Dessicated Coconut is excellent when you don’t necessarily want that sweetness.
I made two versions of a Mango Yogurt. One with FLV Sweet Coconut and the same mix using VTA Dessicated Coconut. The VTA was better to me in that instance. I’ll post it as a top response for the entry.
FLV sweet coconut is easily the one I reach for first, though I've just picked up VT desiccated coconut and might try to find some ways to play with that in the coming weeks.
Desiccated is the best. I have almost completely stopped using anything else.
this is my favorite coconut recipe of all time stays in the rotation took me a few mixes of other recipes to get to this one and im happy i mixed it it doesnt have the suntan lotion notes like other recipes i tried the combo of FA coconut and FLV Sweet coconut comes off as a perfect coconut
That's a ridiculously good recipe
That’s a great recipe. I borrowed it to make Galleta de Coco v.3
:O im mixing this one up tn that cookie butter looking interesting ... i have a cheesecake remix i used the coconuts he used with the cheesecake trinity which works out pretty well as well as coconut shake recipe both were inspired 100% by the above recipe i wouldnt have gotten to these recipes without trying coco de leche first
I don't vape a lot of coconut, but when I do, one of my favorite recipes is Leche de Coco (Coconut Milk) by Hashslingingslasher https://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/1407277? I also use this recipe as a base and add 3% Sweet Rice FE and 0.5% FLV Rich Cinnamon at a 10% dilution to get a coconut milk cinna-rice. Its very good. Speaking of which, I think I might mix that up tonight
I love a little coconut in my vapes, but only the subtle elusive type of coconut. Not the in your face coppertone suntan oil style. I like it toasted, milked, shredded and creamed. And Dave... I'm hoping you'll do better than: "Wood you believe me it's no Oak when say..." for the upcoming episode.
INW Yes We Cheesecake as well as most biscuits, graham crackers etc. and most cheesecakes except a few contain compounds in the gamma lactone family, If you are sensitive to it like I am is quite detectable. Adding 0.25% FLV Sweet coconut to creams works to thicken them up fairly well.
Mango Yogurt
- FA Cream Fresh - 0.75%
- FA Mango Indian Special - 1.50%
- INW Shisha Mango - 0.50%
- VTA Dessicated Coconut - 1.75%
- VTA Yogurt Drink - 2.0%
- Sweetener Of Choice - 0.3%
VTA Dessicated can be replaced with FLV Sweet Coconut at 0.75%, but it didn’t fit as well here as the VTA Dessicated Coconut did.
One of my faves is definitely LB Coconut Milk. I can mix it with just about anything and it always comes out great. My most frequent mix with it what I call Coco Moon Sugar milk
2% LB Coconut Milk
5% LB Moon Sugar (MGV)
I don't own any LB flavors yet but love the name! I was born in July so wanna give all my recipes a name with Moon in it lols. Now I know Moon Sugar is taken :)
So I love coconuts IRL; coconut oil fixes a lot, coconut water is a god-tier beverage, coconut milk is amazing to cook with & coconut flesh raw or dried is a delicious snack! However, working with coconuts via vaping can take inexperienced DIYers through some incredibly treacherous territory. Trust what these guys say because if you don't, you'll find yourself in The City of Overpowering Off-Notes. Oily, greasy, acrid, suntan oil, perfumey types off off-notes. The PTSD from bad coconut concentrates is very real.
In addition to FA & FLV Coconuts, I also like a little bit of TPA Coconut Candy sometimes.
I can't wait to hear the Noted crew's thoughts on Delosi coconut, I've heard great things about it!
Crap, I don't have that one, and I don't think Emily or Sam does, either. Maybe one of our helpful guests managed to pick that one up.
well if not, then I know what my 1st community contribution is going to be! unfortunately i can't get it before FOTW, but i will soon. i'll ask for Delosi recs in a post or on discord. i've also heard their peanut butter & donut are great too, i gotta find out for myself tho bc naturally i'm skeptical
The only coconut flavor I own is pur fresh coconut but I love it. Almost gone though doesn't sound like I'll be able to get it anymore since purlium is no more. Anyone know a good replacement for it or pur condensed milk they work really well together.
Purlium is no more?
Didn't they stop making flavors that's what I heard don't know that for sure though if not do you know anyone that carries them other than river supply?
You won the flavor pack!
"Put de lime in the coconut..."
There is an oikos greek yogurt flavor (Toasted Coconut Vanilla) I'm trying to replicate in vape, but so far been unsuccessful.
Any ideas how to get the "toasted" part? Thinking maybe a bit of FW Toasted Marshmallow for the next test.
I'm planning to try this as soon as my Hangsen Peanut arrives from the UK
1.00% (TPA) Bavarian Cream
0.75% (FA) Cookie
1.50% (FLV) Macaroon
0.50% (HS) Peanut Butter
3.00% (TPA) Peanut Butter
0.50% (FLV) Sweet Coconut
0.35% (FLV) Sweetness
1.50% (TPA) Toasted Marshmallow

I loved those things growing up but haven't had one in a long while due to the fact that I'd be scared of breaking a tooth chowing down on something that hard now lols.
I recently made this and liking it quite a bit, its the first recipe i have ever shared here in 4 years so
3 % flavorah sweet coconut
1.5% INW dragonfruit
3% Cap golden pineapple
0.5% reka sexy mango
Also as a sidenot I have an old bottle of TPA coconut extra, over time the flavour has completely changed to something like butter except MUCH worse
Finally one I've got some references for.
I'm trying to make a better version of this, and I've got 5 Bavarian Creams, 6 Pears, and I guess 3 1/2 Coconuts; FA Coconut, FLV Sweet Coconut, TFA Coconut, and the TFA DX Coconut from that initial recipe.
I haven't tried those yet, but I'm likely going to see which BC and Pear/s I'll use before I land on the coconut.
That’s a lot of Pear. This is a recipe I made a couple months ago trying to play off of Snake Oil, which I never vaped before.
I figured with the pears I've tried that I'd be using more than one to get a solid pear flavor, so i didn't think 6 would be too many. Though if I were have to pick a favorite fruit it'd be pear.
I did base the additional five after the TFA Pear I had off previous noted episodes, as well as other notes and reviews I read, so I hopefully don't have anything that's garbage in those, but everyone's tastes are different. I'll find out within the next few days though.
Yo I just seen this list for the first time... "Wood" wtf?
FA Oak Wood, TFA Red Oak, FLV Oak Barrel, FLV Wood Spice, VT Barrel Oak, VSO Pine...
One more flavor profile i can whine about having problems with tasting the flavor.
I've tried fa, tpa, inw, inw shisha, flv and probably a few more. What i found out is that if i use lower quality nic, i can't taste any coconut. Also, i need some contrast to have a good coconut vape. For example inw yc coffee goes great with inw coconut. But in most of the mixes i've tried i loose the coconut sensation fairly quickly.
I want a coconut that tastes like the little tree coconut air freshener in my 84 Chevette I had in high school smelled.
Sweet and regular Coconut FLV, Dessicated VTA and Candy TPA are my go to coconuts. FA and Coconut Rum are ok, i wasn't really impressed by Coconut Custard, INW and regular tpa; just got SSA, but it seems i could miss this one. Might push the trigger again if there is a really good coconut milk. Hope you guys will mention your best coconut forward recipe.
My coconut recipe for the week...
