Bottle recommendations
submitted over 4 years ago by waverunner22

Hello all, I recently bought unicorn bottles from river supply co. I had a 60ml in my car for a good chunk of the day, it was around 70-75 degrees outside, when I went to grab it the bottle had melted and morphed. So In other words, I won’t be buying there bottles anymore. what bottles do you prefer? I think I would prefer ldpe bottles because they probably let less light through, and I was looking at dropperbottles.com.

That's not rivers bottles fault. That's a "you leaving things that shouldn't be left in a hot ass car" thing. Do you know how hot cars get?

Did you leave your mod and batteries in there too?

I’m not complaining about river at all. I think the bottles are fairly priced, I would just prefer something that won’t melt like that, which has never happened to me in the passed

Bottles shouldn’t melt if it’s truly 70-75 degrees outside though. Yes the car will be much hotter but I’ve never had bottles melt and I live in Cali.

Don’t leave your child, or pets, vape, or juice in the car

I hate PET bottles. LDPE for the win. For what it’s worth, I wouldn’t leave juice in an LDPE bottle in a hot car either

Yeah occasionally I’ll leave one in on accident, but I’ve never had a bottle melt before. Not complaining about river at all, it’s a good price for the bottles I think. I would just rather have something with thicker plastic

River supply has amber glass bottles that ive tried out and like. It pretty easy to carry 2 of their 15mls in a pocket all day. You could probably carry 2 30mls as well

Do any of you have a good source/go to for unicorn bottles and other storage? I typically use River too, and I have enough to last me a while, but in the interim when the vape companies are not going to be shipping, is there a preferred storage source that any of you can recommend, other than Amazon/ebay which looks to be more expensive?
