Anybody know where to find bottles with the type of dropper tips they use at Mt. Baker Vapor? It's not a unicorn tip and not an eyedropper tip... its like a little fat unicorn tip. I took a picture.
I've had those things dump all my juice out while pouring.
It just drips out unless you squeeze the bottle. I like them because they make filling fast and easy. Of course with all the different devices out there what works well for one usually doesn't work for another. Kind of wish they'd standardize these things. Every time I find a new device I like I seem to have to use a different method to fill it. (and then the device gets discontinued a few months later.)
Never seen those before why not email the company you might get more information from there.
Yeah, I guess I'll have to do that. I was just hoping I'd get a fast easy answer here.
I purchased a large 250ml bottle from Central Vapors, it came with what they call a "Yorker cap" it is a larger, blunt nosed, threaded, corkscrew type pop up cap. It won't fit a 100ml plastic bottle or a 120ml glass dropper bottle, but if you have larger bottles, it might fit and I believe they can be purchased separately fairly cheap .
I find they fill my tanks that have large dual kidney holes super super fast, but with Smok tanks that have small single fill holes, not so hot, but still possible if careful of escaping air. My Steam Crave RDTA's love it, the SMok TFV8 Big Baby hates it !!
I often find that if I can fit the juice bottle in close enough, next to the top cap or drip tip, when filling, I will use scissors to snip the fine tip off of the 100ml unicorn tips so the hole is larger and squeezes easier and fills faster. Usually I cut it just above half way, or just a snip off the top. It works great with most tanks, but the ones where the top cap does Not come off (Smok TFV line, Sense Blazer 200, iJoy Maxo v12, etc. it can be a challenge but usually still works with some wrangling.
Either you can't get the shorter unicorn close enough, or the Yorker tip is too fat for the smaller fill ports, it's always going to be a pain in the ass !! Using a big fat 25ml syringe with a big needle hole is the easiest solution though and they are inexpensive. A 10ml needle will work, but it takes a lot longer to pull cold juice into it. And the Aromamizer plus, Ragnar and Titan can hold a LOT more and since the majority of my sub-ohm tanks have inkedatty.com All Day Vape tank adapter kits at 13ml+, so the larger needle is a one shot deal on most tanks.
Like this? bottle
Dunno what country you’re in. These guys are in canada. I’ve seen these bottle around lots of places tho..... amazon? eBay?
bottle tips Or perhaps these would work?
Or these: flat style bottles
Personally I use these tips And put them on 250 or 500 ml bottles for my mixed batches and then use that to refill my 30 ml glass dropper bottle that I use for dripping. (I use RDA not tanks but years ago when I used tanks I still used dropper bottles)
Thanks everyone for all the help and suggestions.. I continued to just sit here and search around while watching Brooklyn nine-nine and finally found some. Apparently they are simply called "short tips." (sure, makes total sense after the fact :p )
Found bottles with tips here. They also sell just tips and there's multiple types to fit various bottles. I don't know anything about Fasttech so I'll do some research and see if I can find any reviews.
Edit: the reviews for the site suck but at least I know what I'm looking for now.
FastTech is fine, especially for bottles......I used to order almost everything besides concentrates/DIY-mixing from there all the time....well b4 the US shops started having similar pricing. Their Shipping is not always consistent and can take up to to 60 days (during last year w/COVID) but I'd say they average 12-22 day time frame tho. U do get what u pay for as far as devices/hardware but some of my favorite RDAs have been from them.....but they typically have multiple versions so watch it and look @ pics closely if ur planning of adding any hardware to ur order.
Thanks for the reply. I also found them at a site called 3F Vape (and another site where I was limited to ordering 3000 of them so I won't be buying from there but that's probably where they actually come from.) At any rate, Fasttech and 3F are cheap enough that I can take the chance and if it doesnt' work out oh, well.. no great loss. I've got about 10 bottles I kept from Mt. Baker which I've washed and taken the label off. I just don't know how long these things last before they start to see wear and tear.
Theres a few different types of plastic I've seen used in various bottles, but the softer style (which is what I think I'm seeing in ur pics) seems to hold up relatively well....the stiffer plastic starts to get creases in em and look really horrible over time. The only down side I've noticed on the softer plastic (besides tips falling out) is that with certain flavors it seems to set off something in the plastic and it can turn the WHOLE mix bad. I cannot recall what flavors it was since I haven't bought the softer plastic in quite sometime..... I get gorilla style bottles...they work best for me. Good Luck and enjoy the DIY ride!
I've got like 30 of those bottles cleaned and saved. Very useful. And cool to see a fellow mt. Baker vaper. Although admittedly it's not the best juice. I add super sweet to mine since they don't use sweetener. Desert rain is really good. And it's my last because it's diy for me after.
Search for eye dropping bottles on amazon. You'll find something like this bottles
Thanks. Yeah, I've found a few on Amazon after a lot of crawling through the site. The hardest part about searching for particular bottle tips is hardly any pictures show the tips and there's no description of what tip comes with what bottle. Millions of bottles to choose from but you have absolutely no idea what type of tip is under the lid.
Did you check the link I put in? That one seems to show the tip unless I'm not understanding. Looks a lot like the mt baker bottles and tips just a little different. But oh well. Just saw it and remembered your post. Good luck!
Yeah.. it's a little different I think. (hard to actually see huge difference from picture.) . This is the type of tip I'm looking at. You can see that it seems a wee bit shorter, the tip is rounded and the hole is actually fairly small.
In all reality any tip would probably work (except needle tips) and whatever bottles I do order will probably change in the future depending on what type of devices are available for me to buy in the future. So ultimately my "want" of the perfect tip will always be constantly changing. :p
