First Time Buying Liquid Nicotine
submitted over 4 years ago by promqueenkiller

I'm making the switch to DIY due to the vape mail ban and I'm experiencing some stress since I may only have one chance to get what I need.

I've read that nicotine can last up to 7 years if it's stored properly, so I would like to get enough liquid nicotine to last me for about 10 years. It may not last much longer than that, so any more would likely be too much. We may also have other options in the future.

If I normally vape 120ml of 6mg in a week, how much 100mg liquid nicotine should I get to last me for about 10 years? I plan on getting 2-3 gallons of 100mg PG base from Liquid Nicotine Wholesalers. I have enough e-liquid to last me for a couple months while I get everything else that I'll need.

Any advice on this will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you!

If I did that right, I'll have more than enough.

That's an amazing link! I don't need it (UK), but that's very helpful to let me know how long my little bottle I bought will last. Thanks for posting it!

Too drunk to do math right now but try river supply. They have a 25% off sale right now. Fwiw, I'm planning on 10 litres of 100mg/ml to last me at least 10 years

I bought over $350 worth of nic from them last week... Would have been nice to know about the sale. And I do understand that St. Patrick's Day would really be the last "holiday" that a sale would make sense before the PO ban, but I never think of it as anything but Drunken Assholes And Cabbage Day.

I did much the same 3 or 4 days ago, no notice about the sale or I would've waited and gotten more.

Yup, same here. I think I'm buying some more today to be safe

What were their shipping times like? I placed an order over a week ago and haven’t heard anything about shipping yet.

Seemed like nothing moved on that stupid app they force you to use, until 1 day before it arrived. It literally told me it shipped the same day it showed up in Chicago, then boom, next day it arrived. Took about a week.

That's about 2.6 gallons, so right around what I'll be getting as well. Thank you for the reply. Going over everything one last time really helps since it's not an insignificant amount of money for me.

Sorry, my drunken fingers hit the submit button too soon. We can stock on nic all we want but I'm still a bit concerned about tanks and mods. While I use an rdta, I still have my wife and best friend on herakles tanks....I am worried about the long view to say the least... Best of luck to you and all our brothers and sisters

>Things break in batches, too. And I bargain shop. Bargain shopping will end. That irritates me the most.

I hear you Brother, good luck to you and all of us. To be honest, while I'm preparing for the worst, I'm hoping for some sort of light at the end of the tunnel

Jesus I'm vaping 6mg per ml. 3mg just has me hitting the mod every second. So on 6 I bet 1 liter will take me 5 years don't waste don't over flavor don't try every damn recipe. 99% of the recipes I can't vape. I vape 1 or2% flavor just it keep simple gd luck.

Also. A tip don’t add nicotine to your recipes unless it’s something that you know you’re going to vape. Do testers of 5-10 mls of recipes than taste test, and if you like then add the nicotine. Good luck to all. ♥️

This is a great idea that I never, ever thought about, but it may have been because I had been using the premixed base before hand. Thanks! :)

I do 6mg too. I figured a liter for two years. And at some point the stuff is going to spoil. If you had to, cut the nic in half and go four years on the liter. It isn't as though it will never be sold again. It might just get more expensive.

Takes a Loooooong time to spoil in the freezer. Years.

Can also hit it with an inert gas like argon, which they sell it on Amazon for wine preservation, before putting the cap back on. Should displace the o2 and keep a bit longer.

I honestly think that's overkill, mostly for the people who are trying really hard to keep it from developing that slight "peppery" taste, which honestly doesn't bother me. But I usually do an RY4 type of juice, so maybe it's different for those that like fruit or dessert flavors. And I haven't heard of anyone saying the nicotine potecy suffers, just the taste.
