Have any liquid nicotine vendors announced plans for alternative shipping?
submitted over 4 years ago by equazcionTobacconist

I've seen that a few vape gear/juice vendors have announced they plan to continue operating after the shipping ban is in effect, by utilizing alternative shipping companies that will collect signatures on delivery.

However, so far, I can't seem to find any DIY vendors for concentrated liquid nicotine who have made any similar announcements. I've gone through all the sites I know of and googled some more, but none of them seem to be saying anything about the shipping ban (except for Liquid Nicotine Wholesalers, who say they're likely shutting down).

Has anybody seen any liquid nicotine vendors that have announced plans to continue operating post-ban?

My supplier (nicvape/ US) is optimistic about the future!

When i asked last week they replied that they found a new logistic company and are ready to sign contracts, but the shipping fee will increase!

nicvape + the domain starting with a c.

from spartanburg in carolina

(because of the rules i can’t send a link)

I use them since more than 5 years and never had any problem, even the custom declaration is fine.

I just went to their site and it says they don't ship in the US?

Nude has stated on their site they are looking for vape shops to carry their products (asking people to inquire and request their local vape shops contact them). I expect liquid nicotine to be available at tobacco shops, particularly chain stores, as they already have the supply chains and license in place (and their customer base is traditional tobacco, what do they care if people come in every few months to buy a bottle of nic).

I don't see that as truly viable option.

Skipping over the crazy $$ you'd pay, think of how it would be handled. Would your local vape shop be storing it properly? You can't put it all out on shelves, leaving it in the sun and heat. Are they going to invest in proper freezers? Would you trust them to do that? Are they going to give you a refund for the bottle of oxidized shit they sold you, or tell you it's just fine?

And then add in the crazy price they'd charge and... I hope everyone is grabbing at least a liter or two right now and not counting on vape shop as nic supplier

I wouldn't trust any of the two shops in this town to make me 0mg juice let alone handle and store nic base.

Not sure how you see some exponential increase in price. The loss will be taken by the manufacturers who previously sold direct, as they'll have to sell to wholesalers who will distribute to vendors. In many states you don't even need a license to purchase and resale from wholesalers. If product "spoilage" is even a concern (which I don't think it is, everyone here is just very anal about it), then it would be a custom order. Again, no skin off the vendors back, they already have wholesaler deliveries weekly, if not daily. It will take a bit for this to shake out and there will be consolidation.

And if it isn't available anywhere, then you can get it from me as I'll sell it 4 times a year at "flea market" type vaping-centric events and make a fortune.

Nude and River both sent me an email about a business filling to order nicotine. For the general public, I have no clue yet. Which I'm watching for but already ordered a stash for a few years.

Just ordered 3 gallons of 100mg. Benn doing DIY for 3 years now and refuse to go back. I also live in MA. We have horrible vape laws here. I only vape 1.5 mg nic. But I love vaping. It's really horrible the way they are trying to shut it down. Hopefully they figure a way around the shipping ban.

Delosi labs hasn't said anything at all . They offer ship insurance for 1.00 extra & my last order that company is doing tracking . Idk hopeful maybe they've gone with independent shipping. They also still have all their flavorings in stock & bases as well .

It sucks, but after the first business gets hit with a fine/charges for shipping to a personal residence, the others will stop on a dime. I think more than a few companies are going to try to ignore it until they know for sure it has teeth.

Right? I'm not risking it being still available even though it may be in limited cases, that'll only last as long as it takes for someone to get popped. I'm an upstanding law abiding citizen and if you pass a law that I can't get vape mail anymore, ok cool I won't get vape mail anymore... after the cutoff date. Until then I'm triaging supplies, lining my freezer, and hunkering down.

I almost thought I was overreacting by stocking up like I have, but in the end I'm not willing to take the risk and just hope everything works itself out - if it doesn't and I'm not adequately prepared I'm screwed. I quit an 18 year smoking habit with vaping and mixing my own juice, and I'm not risking it to chance that suddenly I'm going to have to change my lifestyle. The writing's on the wall, and you don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.

Correct me if I am wrong but was it not also banned by the government and not just UPS/USPS/etc? I thought it was said that the government also went through with a mail ban.

USPS is governmentally owned/operated. UPS/FedEx are just falling in line because they don't want to deal with extra regulations and/or pressure.

It's looking like it might be possible to still get some things shipped depending on vendor and where you live, but it will be more expensive and require signature on delivery.

They sent a email out over a week ago. They will not be shipping nic for much longer unfortunately. They were one of the first to make an announcement.
