#1-2-3 VIC

ATF Link to recipe.

Co. | Flavor | % ---|---|---- SSA | Ice Cream Vanilla | 1 TFA | Vanilla Swirl | 2 WF | Vanilla Ice Cream | 3

Vanilla Ice Cream, to enjoy on its own or use as a base to top with goodies.

For whatever reason, some of us suffer from pepper tasting. Where others taste delicious vanilla ice cream, we taste something like a hybrid of black pepper and oxidized nic. If TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream does not taste like pepper to you, ignore this recipe. Go vape TFA VBIC, you lucky ducky.

For some who can't enjoy TFA VBIC, Capella and Flavor West versions of VBIC are often offered as alternatives, but they're inferior, for most profiles, anyway. Perhaps you can enjoy LB Vanilla Ice Cream, though. If LB VIC does not taste like ice cream with some pepper in it to you, ignore this recipe. Go mix The Trinity Vanilla Ice Cream right now. It'll rock your socks!

But for the most unfortunate pepper tasters, even LB VIC has the some of the dreaded off-note. You might even have thoroughly enjoyed it the past, only to find that it's now starting to make you wonder whether your nic base is beginning to head south. Pay attention, pepper people, this one is just for YOU.

WF Vanilla Ice Cream provides the most authentic vanilla ice cream top note you're going to find, I think. TFA Vanilla Swirl tastes like soft serve, the shittiest form of ice cream there is, but it's got volume for days and it perfectly fills in a little dead space in the middle here. SSA Ice Cream Vanilla is literally the finishing touch, as a touch of it here provides a lingering, satisfying vanilla ice cream finish.

Made this last night. Personally prefer it to the trinity. But something about Hs Fvic doesn’t agree with my palate at all.

I thought about you when I made this. You're the main reason why I didn't even consider using HS FVIC.

Melon glazed donut

This is one of my recipes which got recently a lot of love on ATF.

Co. | Flavor | %
---|---|---- |CAP|Cantaloupe|4.5| |FA|Cookie|2.5| |FA|Meringue|2| |CAP|Vanilla Custard|1.3| |FA|Zeppola|2|

I think it's hard to imagine to put a Cantaloupe on a donut, but with the right Cantaloupe it's so tasteful. The nice with this recipe is, it's not only working with the right Cantaloupe. There are more fruits which go well with the donut base. And I encourage you to share your mixing experiences in the comments, this is often a starting point to go at a later stage for the original recipe. You would not be the first to try the original recipe in a second or third mix. And you can always update your comments and share your thoughts.

The CAP Cantaloupe is as the namegiving melon the star as you can imagine. I get a nice sweetness for the glaze and it helps to keep things creamy. Other mixers tried to sub it with FA Cantaloupe at 2.5% or FLV Cantaloupe at 1.5% and were happy with the result. I tried the Flavorah sub later and it's a good 90% remix, I like it and it would be a solid 4 star recipe, but the CAP Cantaloupe does just a little bit more.

That is not the end, I got feedback on replacing the Cantaloupe with JF Honeydew Melon at 2% and a not specified Blueberry . Be creative! Maybe Passion fruit, Fig, Lychee go also well with it. I would love to hear about that!

With Cantaloupe or without this recipe is absolutely epic! Accidentally turned into my go to Flavour. Thank you again for sharing the recipe!!

Simple Summer

Sweet, smooth and tropical. TFA Jackfruit on top of the strangeness of FLV Guanabana. FLV Sugarloaf Pineapple and VT Banana Custard supports the Guanabana and strawberry note in this Custard Apple. TFA Marshmallow to sweeten + smooth it out and CAP 27 Bears to gum it all together and take advantage of the pineapple note.

Co. | Flavor | %
---|---|----
CAP | 27 Bears | 4 VT | Banana Custard | 0.75 FLV | Guanabana | 2 TFA | Jackfruit | 2 TFA | Marshmallow | 1.5 VT | Sugarloaf Pineapple | 1.75

Annulus

Half peach half marshmallow ring candy

(FLV)Peach gummy is the star of the show , supported by (FA)White Peach and (TPA)Nectarine to give a full candy citrucy peach flavor.(VTA)Creaming soda is used as a bridge. It has a nice berry candy note with some fluffy vanilla notes as well.(OOO)Marshmallow Vanilla gives that full marshmallow mouthfeel and the lingering vanilla endnote is supported by the candy vanilla note from the Creaming Soda

I do get a throathit on almost all peach mixes so i enjoy this after a 5day steep. Its def vapable as a SnV tho.

Wombat's Jam Monster Mixed Berry taste-alike #2

4.00% Blackberry (CAP)

5.00% Blueberry Extra (TPA)

3.00% Raspberry, Sweet (TPA)

1.00% Sweet Betsy Cherry (Flavormonks)

2.00% Sweet Strawberry (Rdcd.Flshpnt) (CAP)

I had fun making this one. The hubs was a little worn out on the Sweet Georgia Sunrise and asked for something different.

The very last commercial e-liquid he had was Jam Monster's Mixed Berry so I thought I'd give it a go.

He liked mine better... at least he said he did... ;-)

It's very sweet and as long as you don't go more than like 3-4% it's a great maraschino cherry.

Denethor II

AKA "Wall Nut" from The Mixing Games .
A collaboration made with both /u/kuri_sanTou and /u/EdibleMalfunction suggestions.

Why "Denethor II"? In a NUTshell, he was nuts (mostly irrational, but oh well).

|Co.|Flavor|%| |:-|:-|:-| |INW|Walnut|1| |WF|Roasted Pecans & Cream|2| |FA|Custard Premium|3|

After 3 days I can taste a buttery vanilla cream with some semi-mocha undertones, slight nuttiness and a bit of caramel finish. Maybe it is a result of combining the roasted part of WF Roasted Pecans & Cream with the "unripeness" / bitterness of INW Walnut. Overall it is a simple interesting recipe and I wonder how it will change with further steep.

Simple recipe for the fruit lovers out there. The watermelon and grape are very present with the apple bridging the gap between the two. Good to go off the shake.

HMA's Dragonfruit Iced Tea v4

It's a tea forward mango/dragonfruit tea with floral and citrus notes, knocked my socks off, hopefully yours too. It's best with a 12+ day steep for the tea, but it's also really good as a shake and vape!

This is my own creation so looking for some feedback here.

Moon Shadow

1.5% Medicine Flower: Dark Chocolate

1.5% Medicine Flower: White Chocolate

0.5% One on One: Whole Milk

1% Flavorah: Caramel

1% Purilum Super Sweet

You gotta let that steep for about 7 days otherwise the chocolate is kinda strange tasting. After it calms down it's delicious!

This is an 80VG/20PG recipe.

Description:

The chocolate in this one reminds me of Belgian chocolate. So if you are looking for American Hershey-type chocolate then you might wanna give this recipe a pass. The caramel is thin but yummy, the kind that oozes out when you bite into a chocolate bar.

"O" Face - Nic Salt Juice

This is my take on a Fruit Loops cereal juice. This recipe is designed to be mixed with Nic Salts, and is not a freebase recipe.

I've spent a bit of time refining this one and gone through many iterations to get it to this level. I think I've finally hit exactly what I'm looking for in terms of flavor. This one might be a little over-sweetened for some, but there's a simple solution, just use less sweetener. I just prefer the cereal juices to be a little on the sweeter side.

I tried the Fruit Circles from both Capella Silverline and TFA. Both had flavors I was looking for, but they both were a little off the mark. Capella had too much of that grainy, cereal flavor, and TFA had too much fruity-ness without enough of the grainy cereal flavor. When I mixed them together in these ratios it seemed to work together very well and they play off each other nicely. The Creamy Milk Undertone from One on One is just the icing on the cake, and gives the juice the right pop to bring out those cereal notes. After a while of trying to create this I'm finally excited to add this one to my ADV list.

So I got covid in July, my only symptom was being super tired for about 2 weeks. I got it again in early January, but this time it came with what was the worst sinus infection I've ever had. Hurt to breathe through my nose. After that was gone, I had no sense of taste or smell. Like... Nothing. Dry air. I could 'taste' salt and sweet and that was it. The last three months have been incredibly stressful, mainly because I'm a chef, and I obviously rely on my taster and sniffer to make money. Also tasting and smelling things is just important no matter your profession. I finally feel like I'm back to about 90%. For those three months I couldn't taste any mixes. I used INW eucalyptus with mint at 1% exclusively for a month, because at least I could feel that one. I also mixed up some Hawaiian POG remix on a whim, and found I could 'taste' the super sweet, mainly being able to tell that it was sweet, without tasting anything else.

So... After all that, I haven't created any new recipes, but now that I can taste the Hawaiian POG I really enjoy it. I also dug out an old bottle of my Coffee in the Shade and have been enjoying that strong FLV Connecticut Shade. Hinterlander was one of the first I had once I could taste again, as well as Nanner Bear aka Prairie.

I'm just grateful my senses came back. It was nice to be able to taste my favorites again. I haven't been very active here the last few years, and I haven't been very productive as a mixer. I do plan to be around more, and to contribute more, and to hopefully find some inspiration from all you lovely people.
