'What are you vaping?' Thread - Week of February 15, 2021
submitted over 4 years ago by c5b4c91772c729fc7d0a

This thread is for you to share what you are vaping lately, be it your own or another mixers recipe. Maybe you happened to stumble upon your new ADV in the February Recipes Thread? Or did someone recommend your first mix to you in the Suggest a recipe for my flavors Thread

Share what you liked or didn't like too much, but most importantly, please make sure to properly link to the recipe and to the mixer if they're on reddit.

If you need some inspiration, some websites keep track of your mixes and batches: e-Liquid Recipes and All The Flavors.

Also make sure to checkout last week's thread for inspiration or to follow up on a mix that turned out even better after a week of steeping! We keep an archive of all the past threads in our wiki as well

Happy Vaping!

Viva La Mint by u/VIVAVAPE

Don't be scared of the 5% SSA garden mint! This stuff is balanced and delicious.

Mixed it up and I second that. I am not the minty type and I was pleasantly surprised.

Mixed my current two favorite flavors. Very nice easy mix. Probably room to grow for the non-lazy. Sour pineapple citrusy tropical.

I find the simple ones to be the ones I gravitate the most towards. I'll give these flavors a shot in my next order.

Currently rocking:

Kiwi (FA) 5% + Fuji Apple (FA) 2.5%.

Kiwi (FA) 3% + Strawberry Red Touch (FA) 3% is also solid. Both at 30PG/70VG.

Deli Choc Croissant - Nutty chocolate filled croissant.

Galadriel's Light - A recipe I recently worked on - Coconut cream with bourbon, lavender and sugar orchid. Would appreciate feedback!

VA Perique for Pipe - Always good to have a steeped bottle for bright tobacco urges.

And some versions of few recipes in progress.

Hi 👋. I made a 30 ML batch of Tribeca from a recipe by “ilikeicoffee My Tribeca is better than Halo’s.” I had to do some math work because his was based on 100 ML. And I only wanted to make 30. It’s been steeping since 2/4/21. But still not much taste. So Today I fastened the bottle to my car wheel and drove around for a couple of miles. Afterwards it did turn a little golden color. It had been clear prior. I tried it and it was better but could still be stronger in the flavor department. I’m wondering if it should have more of the flavors I used. Not sure. I’m kinda new at this but I’ve read tons of How To’s trying to get that wonderful Tribeca taste. So I’ll just let it steep a little longer. Thanks! Major-Belt

If you posted the recipe that could help us determine if you should use more flavoring. And you shouldn't need to do any math, just use the online calculator on alltheflavors (ATF) or E-Liquid-Recipes (ELR)

In my work rig I have a peanut butter custard: 8.5% Peanut Butter, 8.5% Vanilla Custard. All TFA. 23/77 ratio. Aged 2 weeks prior to vaping. I mix this is a 300ml glass bottle.

Currently switching between ID10-T's Counter Punch And a Coconut Pear recipe. Both at 70/30.

The Counter Punch is really good, though not something I can do as an ADV.

I really like the combination of coconut, pear and Bavarian Cream, but that recipe feels really rough. This was one of the first two recipes I mixed. I like it, but feel like I will need to do some work on this in the future.

I just mixed up five 10ml bottes of some other recipes... just have to let those steep for two weeks.

And six bottles steeping...

I added my stash over to ATF as getting the right flavor on ELR seemed more complicated than it needed to be.

Using their "what can I make" feature lead me to make Velvet Fog

I told my wife I'd save money with DIY...

I think I have too many flavors for someone who's been doing this six weeks, and I'm pretty sure I lied.

With an average cost of $2 -$2.50 a 100ml mixed your definitely saving money, so not a lie. But the amount spent on flavors can definitely get expensive when your eyeballing 500 recipes lol.

I know I’ll be spending less per vaped ml in the long run, but I’ve definitely spent more than the $140 or so I would have spent in store bought juice over the last several weeks.

At 3mg my nicotine will last me a handful of years.

Wanting to try more recipes has me ordering a lot, though I’m assuming the more flavors I have the fewer I’ll need for a new recipe... but per ml that stuff is more costly than the nicotine.
