Turning 50/50 vg/pg into 60/40 vg/pg

Hi, I'm too dumb to do the math.

I have a 30ml, 35mg, 50/50 bottle of nic salt. I would like to thicken it to 60/40 vg/pg. How much VG would I need to add to get there? and what would the final nic mg be after doing so?

roughly 8 ML of vg, nic level would be around 27ish

raine_rc has pretty much the right answer, here's how that's figured out:

If you have 30ml of 50/50 solution, that means you have 15ml of PG and 15ml of VG.

So right now, 15ml of PG = 50% of the solution. You'd rather it be 15ml of PG = 40% of the solution.

(Total Volume) * (40%) = 15ml

Now solve for Total Volume. Divide 15 by 40% (.4). That gives you 37.5.

So your total volume needs to be 37.5ml. You get there by adding 7.5ml of VG.

----For the Nic Level----

Currently 35mg/ml in a total of 30ml. 35*30=1050mg of nic total in your bottle.

Your new volume is 37.5ml. 1050 divided by 37.5 = 28. So your new nic level is 28.

Bruh, think about it this way, 50/50 is 5 parts / 5 parts. 60/40 is 6 parts / 4 parts. Divide your amounts into measurable "parts" then proceed from there.
