Base flavors to increase Recipe Potential?
submitted over 4 years ago by LuckyTraveler88

Hey guys I’m looking to increase the amount of recipe I can possible make out of my flavor stash online through ELR. I have seen the sidebar of the most popular or most bought flavors for each year and such, but I’m looking for a good number of base flavors that will help me increase the amount of recipes I get in unison with the flavors I currently have with my search for my flavor stash “what can I make”. Whatever you can help out with would be great, looking to build up about 10-20 more base flavors to buy with my next order. Thanks in advance.

你应该尽量买水果香精的集合,没有多余的甜味。

He suggested getting a bunch of fruit flavors without excess sweetness, according to Google Translate.

Really depends on what your into. Cheesecake, yogurt, ice cream, bakery, custard... you can search by your flavor stash on elr and alltheflavors. Then search with +1 or +2 flavors and it'll show recipes with your flavor stash plus an extra or 2 extra ingredients you don't have. This way you can see what you need to make more recipes.

Yea I know this, but I’m not really looking to build any specific recipe, but rather have a larger search of recipes I can make, with specific base flavors, that are great for building on, instead of just a missing flavor that will only give me certain recipes.

Are you looking for something like this? Stones/bases

No not really. Like I know that there are a some good flavors that every diy’er should have in their Arsenal for building recipes which are a must. To name a few for example are Bavarian cream, TFA strawberry tip, acetyl, or however you spell it. Flavors like this that are a must for making a larger selection of recipes. I originally bought flavors that I liked, rather than based on recipes.

Did you watch Rugly? I think he has a quite remarkable selection of base flavors in his YouTube channel. I think checking against that and the sidebar will help.

Is there a specific video that you can remember is good to check out that he lists base flavors?

FLV Guanabana

I still don’t know what a Guanabana is, a soursop, or custard apples. But if you want to try something new, Guanabana is it

So looks like no one actually gave you a list of “base flavours” to look at, try out or think about hahaha. I used to be a DIY e juice manufacturer and have successfully made over 30 recipes and have also converted them to nic salt recipes, ( if you want to try and do that and have a hard time just ask me!). So let’s get into it, you may have some of these flavours but I may as well list them.

FA-Fresh cream (this one has no real flavour but is a big one in making your recipe have a real thick body to it, I’ve used it up to 10% and it’s good Get a good cake flavour. Mine was FA-white cake I think INW-chocolate (I personally love Inawera more then any other flavour manufacturer, this chocolate flavour will give you endless possibilities FLV-rich cinnamon (cinnamon is pretty handy there’s a good amount of pairings you can do with it, be careful with this one it’s really strong) INW-shish strawberry (tpa strawberry just doesn’t compare to this one hahaha, this really tastes like a bowl of sugar coated strawberries Inw- natural mint (pairs wonderfully with all different types of fruits or maybe a mint chocolate) Tpa-smooth ( really comes in handy when making a 20mg nic salt, if used in 2 or 3% you will barley feel the throat irritation from the nicotine, makes it really “smooth”) You will want a citrus line. E.G Inw-lime Inw-lemon mix or FA lemon Sicily Inw-grapefruit Tpa-orange kinda sucks but that’s what I used, search for another in my opinion Add a pineapple in there like inw-pineapple Having a coconut in your line of flavours is pree important cause you can do wonderful tropical flavours with it. Don’t forget a mango flavour! Caramel or tpa - dulce de leche And then there’s a shit ton more that’s not a bad list. Just focus on major fruit flavours, major dessert custard flavours, citrus line, then some of those other wacky flavours like menthol, mint( mint is different the menthol, if you don’t know the difference just ask. Cause you can get a menthol flavour with a tad bit of mint and when your expecting no mint with the menthol it can be a bitch) Hope it helps!

I can recommend a few:

FA Fuji: I like this one a lot, since I like apple vapes. It is my go to apple. Imo, it pairs really well with TFA Pear and CAP Double Apple.

TFA Strawberry (Ripe): I don't particularly like this strawberry, but it is used in tons of recipes as a primary or additive.

CAP Vanilla Custard: I like this custard a lot. Imo, it is a must have if you like custards.

CAP Super Sweet: This is a really potent sweetener. It is also easer on coils compared to others I have tried. I usually use this at 0.2-0.5% if a recipe suggests adding sweetener.

FLavorwest's "Cookie" flavoring tastes good with anything you add to it. I've added coconut, blueberry, raspberry, vanilla, chocolate, caramel and coffee. It blends well with everything! Bavarian cream is another that plays nice with all.
