Liquid Barn or River Supply for nicotine?
submitted over 4 years ago by Smells_like_ChildrenMissing One Flavor

I've been lurking this sub, doing my research for weeks now. I'm finally ready to pull the trigger on some nic before the whole vape mail ban and I've narrowed it down to the two suppliers mentioned above. RS seems to have the better prices so I'm leaning that way... Just wondering if there's any insight anybody could lend me beyond the vendor reviews found in the sidebar before I make my order, since this might be my only shot. Thanks in advance wonderful humans :)

I prefer LB. They're fast, always have a coupon code you can find, sell CNT nicotine which I prefer to most other types in terms of quality, great customer service, have the AWS LB-501 for a good price and is usually in stock, good overall selection of supplies.

RiverSupply is fine and their VG and PG are super cheap. I'm not a fan of purnic. Preferred River Supply when they sold chemnovatic nicotine or was it CNT...

Edit - Theres a 15% off coupon for LB that is usually active. I dont recall what the code is, you'll have to find it.

THE 15% code I used recently was DIYordie so try that maybe. :)

Can I ask what the difference between the two is? Is RS harsh or something? I've always bought from RS but I'm about to make a large purchase due to the mail ban and I want the best stuff.

Edit: Nevermind. I can't justify the price difference. I'm going with RS, I'm used to it anyways.

Personally I use River. I was going to try out LNW for size, but they don't offer 250mg/ml nic in PG. Apparently no one was buying it, which doesn't make any sense. River, IMO has the best starting selection of flavors, nic, and diluent. Sadly they don't offer free shipping on gallons anymore but that's not the end of the world. Now I just get my gallons from Bull City along with the rest of my flavor order.

Basically I use River for bottles and nic and Bull City for flavors and diluent.

How's the nic? Most are saying they prefer LB but River's nic is half the price and I can forgive quite a bit for that price lol

I’ve almost always received very high quality nic from them. The one time I received oxidized nic, they refunded it immediately even though it had been kept in the freezer for months.

One thing to note, however, is that their nic is never crystal clear. It’s always milky or yellowish but it is still really good and vapes great :))

For nic LB has been great in my experience. Tried river supply a long time ago before name change and wasn’t impressed. Been using liquid barn for nic for probably two years and never had a bad batch. Don’t really buy anything else from them though except an occasional one shot or bottles. Nic river is great for pg/vg and flavors.

I've ordered both but for 4 years. Once from Nic River and the rest from LB, (CNT) is what I buy in VG (For the smoother lung hit. PG to me I get that pepper cough from it. Like mentioned above LB Never let me down and is Super Fast Shipping...

How would you say the nic stacks up? Is CNT really worth 2x the price? Also curious about nic in VG being smoother? Never heard that and most advice I see is to get it in PG. I understand higher VG juice is smoother but I didn't think nic base would matter if I just use a higher VG% in the final product

Nic in PG is super easy to manage as it is a thinner mix and requires less effort to withdraw using a syringe.

Nic in VG, especially when having been stored in the freezer is a bitch to work with in the same manner as nearly any blunt tip needle size will be inadequate for removal. In such a case it may be easier to pour it, use an oral syringe, or use your typical syringe without a blunt tip needle.

As far as the action of vaping being different I've never noticed one. At the end of the day my mix is 70/30 regardless and all puffs are created equal. I prefer nicotine in a PG base.

Honestly the best nicotine you can buy is from Carolina extracts, or nude nicotine. If you don’t want to pay those premiums I recommend LNW, over the other two you mentioned. LNW sources their very own nicotine, rather than buying from a name brand supplier like purnic or nic select.

Damn that stuff looks nice but I got budget hands, thanks for the advice.

LNW is very affordable, actually cheaper than river supply. LNW has no nicotine tax and a standing 15% off discount code you can use, river supply has no promo codes. “ELRECIPES” is the code for LNW. Their shipping costs are cheaper too.

Yoo do you know if this code is still active?? I know it’s been a month since the post was made but I’m boutta order a gallon of nic from them and 15 percent off would be lovely

Edit: it’s not :/
