I'm not buying vape products. I'm buying artificial flavorings to make candy for my friends.

And all this because our government treats us like children

All this because our government is bought & paid for.

Mmm, black market nicotine. Can't wait to hit up my boy Paco behind the local walmart for some bottles.

Eggplants contain nicotine.

Time to ship 1700lbs of eggplants to my house via UPS I guess

>The product definitions in the law appear to include e-liquid and devices that contain no nicotine, contain only CBD, or are designed to be used solely with THC oil. “The term ‘electronic nicotine delivery system’…means any electronic device that, through an aerosolized solution, delivers nicotine, flavor, or any other substance to the user,” it says.

Wait, so does this not include coils and coil making supplies then? Sorry for all the questions man

JFC!!!! I unfortunately knew this was coming, what the actual freaking frick. I live 30 minutes away from Nude Nicotine, I know they get a lot of hate here for their super slow fulfillment but I've personally enjoyed their actual product. I'm more than happy to pick up & ahem NOT SHIP stuff out. If they can survive without being able to ship most of their product that is.... JFC.

by JMC-79over 4 years ago

I personally love nude nic. They can take as long as they want as long as the nic is always that good. We should start our own shipping company for vape products kinda like uber.

by hesheretteover 4 years ago

Me too re NN, but I'm one of those people who orders things long before I actually need them & pretty much forgets I've ordered something until it shows up. Maybe someone with investment $ will get some ideas 🤞🏻 or we will just ensure our own survival "somehow"

1 points

by erp0432over 4 years ago

You'll soon need to be a registered manufacturer to purchase nicotine.

1 points

by hesheretteover 4 years ago

Is this actually happening to us as well or are you predicting a logical next step? Just wondering if I've missed that memo; I try to stay on top of all the BS but it can get overwhelming at times, esp here in the US!

2 points

by erp0432over 4 years ago

It's coming down the pipeline. The next squeeze.

Manufacturers are already registered (PMTA rules).

If this was not going to be enforced in the future, there would be no need to register.

We have known this since the bill was signed.

This only applies to juice and hardware though.

4 points

by IndependentPorcupineover 4 years ago

Yup. Does it apply to liquid nicotine as well? I was under the impression diyers wouldn't really get affected.

8 points

by EdibleMalfunctionover 4 years agoI found my thrill on Blueberry Hill

We have not heard of any changes with regard to nicotine. Everything else will not pose an issue.

by 67Execover 4 years ago

There are a ton of smaller independent shipping companies out there, and I'm sure that they'd be willing to fill the void

What are the alternatives for this? This is bad, really bad.

Are fedex and usps already banned or do i still hav time to order something

2 points

by checkmak01over 4 years ago

I think you do.

Fedex is sometime in March, if memory serves. M_Onan_Batterload explain the USPS debacle in this post.

-3 points

by mikenite69over 4 years ago

This shouldnt effect ups or fedex because they are not ran by the government where the post office is ran by it.

I dont understand why alot you are bugging out it's not like vendors who ship shit out cannot still ship using usps or any of the shipping companies. I am sure there are plenty of companies that will still use usps to ship things instead of going bankrupt because in reality chances are once the items are shipped liability will most likely fall on the reciever on the products not the sender. Also do you know how much drugs get sent through the post office, fedex, and ups all day every day without being caught especially if shipping inside of the united states... I doubt they are gonna start training drug dogs to sniff nicotine and vape products out.

People worry to much like the world is coming to an end and I would bet fedex and ups is still gonna be shipping shit it's just gonna cost a bit more because they are a more exspensive service.

That kilo of nicotine powder for $215 from River Supply is starting to look pretty tempting. I wonder if the powder has a longer shelf life than the solution.

Does anybody know if you can actually make vape juice with the stuff or is it strictly for use in ingested tobacco products?

2 points

by Nephi19over 4 years ago

Yes. Idk how but yes. Read the description. https://www.nicselect.com/gb/products/nicotine-powders/

Dang it looks like these powder nic suppliers only ship to businesses and not personal addresses

by iowajoshover 4 years ago

Does UPS bow to influence or is the paperwork just too much of a burden?

1 points

by MLEJ2over 4 years ago

Probably some of both plus fear of legal liability problems.

by iowajoshover 4 years ago

For sure. Making business afraid to deal with us for fear of prison and fines. The land of the free?

I can only order food flavouring, VG and PG to my P.O box. Everything else from my local store.
