Mango -- a flavor I avoided like the plague when I vaped commercial juice. Always seemed disgustingly pungent. Pretty sure it was just me as I've known plenty of people over the years that love mango forward profiles from commercial juice lines.
To be fair, I've never had a mango in real life, at least not that I can recall, so I always chalked it up to that with commercial juice.
After trying a few DIY concoctions, I was surprised to find mango not so bad, rather enjoyable. After I made it through quite a few recipes I would call this a really tasty flavor. Still not my #1 fruit flavor but I would call mango a friend now, a good thing to have in my stash to mix up that next awesome mango forward recipe.
To sum it up, I'm less leery about mango now with DIY recipes, but still picky. Recipes that are mango forward must be very tasty.
I did get the warm fuzzies just thinking about u/Kittybit8 's Crunchy Mango Crumble.
The Rule7 website describes Crunchy Mango Crumble as: "A delicious and buttery, crunchy crumble served with a sweet mango puree and a splash of whipped cream. Truly a dessert for people with a sweet tooth!"
I taste a sweet and creamy mango on the front that flows into a nice baked crumble on the back, with just the right amount of butteriness. The "texture" from the crumble really helps sell this profile. An authentic dessert true to it's name and description.
Oooo, I like this one, and if the recipe were available I would definitely put this on my stones list. Good thing it's affordable and readily available or I would have to pester KittyBit8 for the recipe. Three for three now. Ngl, I didn't expect anything less from the Rule7 mixers.
If you want to give Crunchy Mango Crumble one shot (hehe), check out the Rule7 website.
