i took a rubberband once and that helped with grip. worst case pliers

or like there are some nutcrackers that fit good on bottleheads

Get a long pair or pliers and you'll never have another stuck bottle cap..most likely.

Completely break the cap?

Try tightening it. I've had bottles do that and when I tightened it, then pushed down while unscrewing it, it usually worked. Key word is usually....

Try it. Can't hurt.

It's happening with my nicotine, it's awful. I have to use most of my body weight to get the bottle open and my hands do be red raw from trying. Definitely a massive ass pain for sure considering the bottle is filled with what is effectively poison if I get a large amount of it on my skin xD

> do be red raw from trying

General tip, use a piece of cloth or fabric over the lid of the bottle. I have a towelling facecloth that’s dedicated to wiping down bottles/minor spills etc that works well.

It both increases your grip and prevents the lid ripping your hand apart, tbh I use it even when there is no difficulty opening the bottle.

Try pulling the cap off as hard as you can while undoing it. Works for me most of the time

You mean unscrew it and pulling it instead of pushing?

Pushing it to unlock it, then pulling on it to get the threads to grip. It will come off. Decant your bases into smaller bottles like condiment bottles, you can buy them for a dollar. Just put them in a cool dark place

The thing is when i do this and push down the lid and turn it just keeps jumping from the thread..but the vg leaked some liquid overnight and i opened it without any resistance.

Vice grips.

Try running hot water over the lid for about 5 minutes, dry thoroughly, then try to push down and open like normal. If you are in a cold location or you store it in the refrigerator, it may be the residue left on the edges may have thickened and that will make it difficult to open. Hot water will soften it, if that's the issue. Hope this helps. 😊

Thanks bro!!! 😭It worked but still I had to remove the first cap to expose the white cap directly to warm water!! 😁🤙

Oh wow! That sucks! I'm glad the water helped a little. Though. 😅

if it is a child resistant cap, sometimes manufacturing defects in the caps don't allow the opening as the locking mechanism slips.

The easiest thing to do is to put a small flat screwdriver between the outer opaque cap (white, black, etc.) and the inner natural colored cap. the two parts snap together and the outer can be removed.

If don't without breaking the outer cap, they can be re-assembled and used.

simply wedge the flat tool between the two plastic pieces on the bottom of the cap rim (turning the bottle over) and slowly work the outer cap off. Once off, you should be able to grasp and turn.

We think this is also part of an issue with the thickness of the foil liner if the bottles are heat induction sealed. Worst case, you just use the inner part of the cap if the outer breaks. The bottle will still seal.

I just put a key ring between them ..am I supposed to pull and turn the cap?

you should not have to turn the cap at all.

just pry up a little, move over pry up, move over until you work it up

Sounds like you may have cross threaded it, which means the threads on the cap and the bottle were misaligned when you put it on. Does the cap look level or crooked?

Nope . its leveled.
